Absolute corrupt company my partner bought a 15 month warranty with 20-20 through GL COMERRCIALS LTD in Huntington..for his ford transit van. 13/09/24..valid till 13/12/25 The van suddenly had sudden catastrophic failure . 24/08/25 .. it went to a vat registered random garage in Birmingham they instructed us to do as they only accepted that kind of garage..an independent mechanic filmed opening the vehicle saying “ catastrophic damage ..sudden failure.. collapsed bearings.. he said “that’s not wear and tear” all on video!!20-20 then dont agree .. saying the need their own engineer to look at video ..NOT THE ACTUAL VAN!!! Their engineer watching a video said no and 20-20 won’t pay out !! How??? They are very dismissive on the phone yet all the evidence shows we are in our rights to claim the £2k bill it’s cost .. in bold letters on the WARRENTY which isn’t worth the paper it’s written on .the issues are covered ! Corrupt cowboy company that are very cocky on the phone absolute corruption that needs investigating by trading standards.. action fraud.. motor ombudsman.. they are misleading selling a WARRENTY that they don’t honour .. it’s a scam and it’s criminal! Both companies must be in cahoots together as both names on glossy WARRENTY book!!!
Got warranty with this company.So far have needed to use them twice, first time was no hassle, this time have had nothing but problems, gave estimate and they dont agree with what is needed or how long it takes, everything is priced on text book and not actual work done.My starter motor went garage took 2 hours to fit but there saying it should only take just over an hour.Thermostat had to be removed but again saying not needed.All in all they dont listen to what garage say and what is actually needed to complete work.Absolute joke.
