This experience was amazing it pushed me to my limits. When I thought I couldn’t do an exercise I proved myself wrong. The Instructor Amanda was wonderful throughout the 28 days. I didn’t have enough time with my free trial and the company was kind enough to give me the time to see if it worked for me. I noticed little differences in these 28 days and I feel stronger then ever. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
I love this easily accessible pilates Reformer board. Yes it has some quirks to work through with the actual board. Any work out item has those, just adapt as needed! The classes were amazing. I love the music and lack of excessive talking!
I wasn’t really sure if I was going to like this program, but it has completely surprised me. I’ve always thought that I need to work out and do a lot of cardio to see some results. The sessions are short, but very impactful. My first month without changing my diet, I lost 5 inches overall and 5 pounds. I’m seeing muscle definition, have increased my energy, I feel, stronger and sexier too!
First off, their customer service is top notch. I had an issue and it was resolved right away. Secondly, I had been wanting to try Pilates at home (I currently walk and do Zumba) and saw an ad for this right around the same time so I figured I’d give it a shot. Day 1 and I’m enjoying it. I like that I can access classes and do this on my time and also modify my workouts to my current needs. Not only will this get you nice and sweaty, you’re strengthing as well, which we all need as we get older. Looking forward to the long term with this and I’m excited about a new workout
Overall I am thrilled with 28 Pilates!I bought a Pilates board elsewhere as I didn’t want to invest a lot in something that I may not like. I am 43 and suffer from back and neck issues from a car accident, and have had carpal tunnel surgery and ulnar nerve repositioning surgery on both arms. Not all exercises work for me due to these and other age and lifestyle issues - arthritis, Lack of strength/agility/energy etc etc. I started my journey by joining the 28Pilates community. Within 2 weeks of starting the 28 day challenge I had lost 3 inches in my waist and 2 inches in my bust. BUT more important than that I gained back energy, strength, flexibility and I just felt better physically and mentally!! I was sleeping better, waking up more refreshed. The workouts are amazing, slowly building in difficulty and intensity as you progress. The community is fantastic, super supportive the members not only root for you to succeed but care about you and cheer so loud when you overcome a challenge or reach a milestone. And commiserate and give you comfort and support on your bad days, or when you share things that you’re going through. After 2 weeks I decided that I this program was the one for me and ordered a Pilates board from 28Pilates because the one I bought was basic and didn’t offer all the options. There was a problem with the shipping I reached out to customer service and they were able to find out where the problem was and get it resolved for me. They also extended my membership so that I wouldn’t miss out on anytime due to the shipping delay. I do wish that there was a section that showed you how to do each workout to ensure you’re doing it properly to avoided injury and ensure you get all the benefits.
I am actually enjoying working out every day! I’m a mom of 2 (4 and 1) and have a hard time balancing workouts with out daily routines, until now! These workouts are short enough to allow me to get other things done during nap time, and effective enough where I am seeing results!
Really loving this program! Short enough to fit it in and not make excuses, I can do it in the privacy of my home, and I’m held accountable on the community. I also like reading about other experiences and getting support from others. Amanda is an awesome instructor and easy to follow. And to top it off I’m starting to see results! Love that I’m starting to get stronger and more flexible too. Worth the investment of the board and the time to feel and look better-and I’m saying this as a 52 year old with a teenager-if I can do it anyone can! I do have two small suggestions. First the board sometimes sticks during a glide and I’ve also had the connector loop come undone-I muscle through it but I’m hoping the board will work and last for the long haul. Next, would love a more direct way to link the suggested meals/ways of eating with the workouts for optimal results. But a 5 star program for sure!
