I ordered a very expensive piece of furniture on July 8th. I understand that it says 2-4 weeks for delivery but they have taken the money and there is no correspondence about when I will receive the item, nobody answers the phone or replies to messages. I would like a refund if I can't get information on delivery date but can't get that either!!!

Found the perfect piece of furniture at…

Found the perfect piece of furniture at a very competitive price. Contacted customer services and was advised the unit was due in that week and so could arrange for delivery the following week.Once purchased, the delivery company contacted me within a day or so to arrange delivery. Cabinet was delivered as arranged and on time.Couldn’t be happier. Would not hesitate to order from Accessories for the Home again.

Missing parts

I placed an order for 2 items in March 2025. Whilst I can understand the delays in delivery and will not comment on that, I have been contacting this company since the 1st of June regarding 2 missing legs - the furniture arrived incomplete, missing 2 legs, so I am unable to use and been waiting like this, with the furniture partially assembled, for a month and a half, waiting on an update on what happens next. I have received 2 emails from Samantha saying she will contact the supplier to sent the 2 legs straight to me and the other one saying she will chase them and ask them to send them ASAP. No update since the 24th of June and no legs. I will not comment on the quality of the furniture, let’s just say it look better in pictures than in reality. But I would have probably not had any issue with this if I could al least assembly it properly.I don’t usually leave comments but this situation has been quite disruptive and I feel it requires documentation.

No response from company about my order

I ordered a mirror on 10th June which has not yet arrived. I have emailed and left two voicemail messages but have not received a reply.I'll have to contact PayPal about getting my money back if I don't get a response soon.

Updated review: cupboard arrived very late but good final result

EDITED REVIEW: In my earlier review I had written about the dismay at ordering an item labelled "in stock" on the website which stated 2-6 weeks delivery time and having to wait over two months for this to come when we needed the item before the arrival of our baby.The issue was not only the wait but also the lack of contact from the brand in helping us understand if there was delay. In the end we were contacted with an explanation that the owner had been away unexpectedly and there had been a mix up with the colours ordered. This was reassuring to get some contact, and of course things happen that cannot be predicted, however some contact would have been appreciated earlier in the process to understand this as it was happening.Yesterday our cupboard arrived and it was both in great condition from the delivery, a really lovely item and just as we had hoped. This takes the sting out of the wait somewhat, however I could still not give a 5 star to the all round experience.

Ignore their customers

Posted 27 July: Bought a cabinet which was shown as 3-4 weeks delivery. I know lead times can be variable so I phoned and was told delivery times were very good at the moment and more likely to be 3 weeks. They were helpful in sending me measurements and pictures of the item. However this was a big con. The item was delayed. When I contacted them by email to find out what had happened, I was ignored. When I eventually got hold of someone by phone, I was told there was a delay. They couldn't tell me how long. In the end the item arrived 8 weeks later. I wouldn't have had a problem with this if I had been kept informed. I was constantly chasing them for information, and repeatedly ignored when emailing. The last time I spoke to the manager, I was told they'd refund me 20% for the delay. But more than a month later, no refund. And no reply to my email when I asked about it. It's appalling that companies like this position themselves as premium but fail to offer premium service. I never asked for a refund and would have been fine if they apologised sincerely, empathised, and kept me informed of the delay. I had my eye on a few other items but unfortunately I will not shop with this company ever again on principle.The replies to reviews from the owner are unacceptable. It doesn't matter how many orders you ship per week or how busy you are. Keeping customers informed who have paid is a crucial part of service. My advice to customers: if you find an item you like, source it from elsewhere. I was happy with the product and realised later many other reputable suppliers offering the same.Reply to owner 11 sept: As is always the case with companies like this, they have made no attempt to check their email or refund me as they promised. I don't see why I should be contacting you. I'm not on your pay roll. If you cared about keeping your customers happy, you should prioritise responding to emails rather than trying your save face on review platforms.

Excellent experience

I had an outstanding experience with this company from start to finish. Every email and phone call was answered promptly and courteously, showing a true commitment to customer service. What really impressed me was their willingness to go the extra mile, they arranged a special Sunday delivery just so I could receive my cabinet sooner. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. The cabinet itself is beautiful and exactly what I was hoping for. Overall, a fantastic experience—I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

Sam was able to source the furniture I was looking for, which was great.There was a bit of a wait for it as it was out of stock from the manufacturer end but Sam made me aware of that from the beginning. Sam's communication was great when I enquired about delivery dates etc
