I'm over 70 and had a fall back in July, damaging my arm. It has not healed so I called into my surgery to see a doctor (not a nurse this time) as I'm now really concerned. They directed me to Accurx and gave me a link. The link took me straight to an error page. "There was a problem with your appointment booking. Contact your healthcare team so they can book it for you."Undeterred, I found the same link in my browser and clicked it. Straight in. It was 11:30am midweek."Because of the time of day, your practice will not be able to process urgent requests". What is an urgent request?? At 11:30 midmorning?Available options were either trivial or urgent. None applied. Except one. "I have a health problem. Contact your GP about a new or ongoing problem". That's it!"Temporarily unavailable".What an absolute disgrace this system is. The perfect screen patients can't even see over, let alone climb over.
I’m 78 after six attempts I downloaded app how stupid expecting people to do photo ID followed by video and most of the information the nhs already have.I’ve looked every day at different times for an appointment there never is any so I will have to phone which defeats the object of the app.Our doctors had a perfectly good system you knew when appointments were going to be released and acted accordingly. It’s called progress wouldn’t like to be a doctors receptionist at the moment.Just another nhs mess.
The system is not very user friendly and usability is low. Considering the demographic dealing with the NHS, it is applling and increases the digital exclusion of many elderly clients. The privacy notices are meaningless and would discourage anybody from signing-up for the service.
First experience was BP readings. Tried to correct a mistake and was disconnected. Only works if you enter reading immediately. Gave up and handed in paperwork instead.Next experience trying to access two surgery letters on my mobile first " no connection ". Downloaded info eventually but unable to open files and couldn't print. Then tried NHS Login on my computer and after seeming to be in a loop for ages managed to find the files I wanted and after a struggle , to open and then print them. I am elderly but with an active brain so god help those less able. The system is completely USER UNFRIENDLY
An incredibly time-consuming system to get in to. My personal details appear to have been muddled with those of another patient. Eventually I gave up and decided to phone the surgery! What was this this useless and unneccessary set up for ?
I cannot overstate how unbelievably bad this App is ! It is user hostile and lacks response making attempts to contact your GP, make an appointment and check how your requests are progressing seemingly impossible. For heavens sake either ditch it, find a better App, or sort it as a matter of urgency !
What is the worse app to contact GP Ever. That’s like apparently take less time to contact his GP. No way that is much longer more information and sometimes working and unswear they giving into for free days whatever. So that easier and fast as they just give a call and that’s it Not is all typing and writing online where you can get proper appointment. Not happy with site , I will do complain about it. Any person can’t type or can’t see properly or how really but issues they can’t even fill up that paperwork would they asking?. It’s just like you can die, but you give me information fast that is ridiculous. Nothing faster, nothing but everything even worse.
Today I received a text message on my phone from my GP surgery asking me to make an appointment for a blood test, and to view the attachment by following a link to accurx.I clicked on the link but nothing happened so I typed the whole link code into my pc and confirmed my date of birth. The link connected with 'nhsMaritime Health Partnership' which stated that "There was a problem with your appointment booking. Contact your health care team so they can book it for you."Over the last 4 or 5 years I have never succeeded ingetting the link to work. Neither have I been able toaccess my NHS records online except on one occasion (it's not a password problem).
Why is it when it involves the government things can roll backwards we're always meant to move forwards it seems I pay the same amount of money if not more into the NHS per month and getting out a very very poor GP experience. We used to call and get an appointment which was very easy now I have to go through fill out these application forms how old are people do it I do not know private companies ruin the NHS
