Review Time
This system simply doesn't work! Logging in as directed and inserting date of birth results in "There is a problem with your appointment...."This is very disconcerting when in truth there is no problem with my appointment! It causes worry to patients and wastes a lot of time trying to sort things out on the telephone.
This is one of the worst online services i have ever seen or tried to use. i work in IT and dont understand how this was commissioned, an online system that can only be used from 8am in the morning and once the alloted number of tickets are used that is it. i feel for the elderly who do not use the internet as they now have two make two journeys to there surgery, one to make the appointment and the second for the appointment, why cant we just stick to the old telephone 8am system that every one can use.
Our GP is wasting its money using this service. Upon requesting an urgent fit to fly letter due to of course unforeseen fracture “that’ll be 28 days.” Asking where test results might be after a wait of 13 months “give it another week”. There is no human common sense associated with this service.
When you want to just make an appointment you are forced to use this "quick" service. As someone that works in IT I find this service and website to be very poor, not helpful, and not useable.It also shows that "Accurx" has no concept of an Appointment Calendar, that shows availability. You're basically puting your name into a hat and waiting for someone to pull it out.I've tried using this on numerous occasions. I'd rather sit on a phone queue than use this poor excuse of a service.Who gave this the all clear?
Logged an issue with some side effects I was having as instructed by my GP surgery on the first day they went live with this fantastic system and 3 days later ended up ringing back my GP as I had no response. I was told they were catching up as they had an influx of logs and others had experienced same problem, seems like yet another useless system they have put in place, what ever happened to proper patient care. This system appears to make it extremely difficult to make an appointment to see a doctor.It's incredibly frustrating to use and involves pressing a link over and over again praying that an appointment slot will magically appear.A truly demeaning experience.
Total rubbish!Other doggy company our details are past to. All talking about cyber security and confidentiality - completely irrelevant!Website cheap build not responsive and about GP - well done, more time for tea and coffee! Then complaining the don’t have good service when calling BT, water supplier, gas engineers. What goes around comes around!
Our Gps have just gone onto this ''system'. My wife tried to use it this morning. It is completely non-intuitive. Pages and pages of information and self promotion without any clear access path. It is incredibly slow! taking minutes to load. We don't have the most up to date phones costing thousands of pounds - but many pensioners are like that.Looks like another hit on the elderly, benefiting only the doctors!!!Eventually she called the surgery - no help there, she was told very rudely to use the app!!! I am not computer illiterate. I was in IT for 30 years and seconded to a United Nations IT working group, because of my expertise. This system is not well designed IMHO.
My partner got a link to accurx from her surgery on a text asking for blood presure readings.She followed it up on her iphone, went through all the log-in procedure and entered the data. There is no send or enter option. There is no indication if the information has gone or not. The bottom of the screen is blanked out with instructions in the event of chest pains. Eventually after playing with the buttons at the bottom of the screen, something changed and it said sent. I copied the link to a PC and had exactly the same screen but larger. There is no indication in the NHS app either. This may be a great step forward for GP surgeries, but for the patient, it is about as user-freindly as a cornered tiger. There is no help tab, no indication as to how to use it. What a waste of time and (no doubt public) money. I would rate it 0 if I could.
