This is the last day of our trip to Thailand! We had a great time with Kitty and NoPi. All three hotels in Bangkok, Krabi and Phuket offered great accommodations! Very good breakfast included in all hotels! Beautiful views, temples and boat rides for a very reasonable price. I would recommend to everyone!
The representative we talked to on the phone was very helpful. She gave us options so we did not feel pressured into choosing something we weren't sure about. She then made the necessary changes to our trip plan. We felt heard and confident that we were getting what we wanted.
I did the Thailand tour to Bangkok,Krabi,and Phuket!I had an amazing trip everything was set up perfect!I upgraded hotel rooms were amazing!We saw over 6 temples in Bangkok,and did a river boat tour was amazing!The tour guide Nope was the best tour guide I ever had!We saw the elephant sanctuary we got to feed the elephants,and bathe them in the river they loved it!We went to the Floating shopping place super cool,and train shopping was super cool!We went to 4 beautiful islands in Krabi and snorkeled,and swam in the ocean warm and beautiful!I loved the hotel in Krabi right across from 7 eleven,massage place only $13 US for 1 hour massage,and currentacy exchange place!We also are in walking distance to the ocean where they have an amazing fire show everything night at 6pm free,lots of shopping,and food places!We had a mini taxi mope took us to the ocean where the locals go ate overlooking the ocean!I loved Phuket went to the monkey temple met a lot of monkey’s,and temple was nice!We also went to Jane’s Bond Island was gorgeous!We went to the night market for dinner lots of food,and shopping!We also went to a Cabore show was amazing!My tour guide set up Massage’s 4 night’s in Bangkok Pong did all 4 of my massage’s in my suite room anscing 2 hours for only $35 US!We went to a Gem jewelry factory,Pearl factory,cashchew factory,and shopping!This was the best vacation met 18 amazing Americans on our tour who I will stay I touch with!The tour guide Nope was amazing!I would use affordable vacations again everything was set up perfect transfers,flights,and tours!I flew Singapore was the best international flight I ever took amazing staff,dressed perfect,and food amazing!
This is my first time traveling with affordable world and my experience so far has been underwhelming. It started when I had to call your customer service representative who was rude and I had to ask her to stop rushing me and spend time answering my questions so I didn’t have to keep calling back. Secondly, your website is not very user-friendly. Thoroughly it was a huge debacle with our group based on the number of people who wanted to fly business class. I feel like we were dealt the old switcheroo as many of our prices went up for flying business class and all of a sudden those of us flying business class had maybe 72 hours to pay for our airfare in full, which seemed odd and makes me wonder if our group was singled out. I am very disappointed thus far with my experience with affordable world and have no plans whatsoever to ever travel affordable world again.
Unfortunately, we were not as impressed with this trip as we were with our prior trip. We felt a lack of consistency as we multiple tour guides and not one throughout our trip. When we messaged the tour guide of the day asking for assistance urgently as one of the members of our group had fallen and broke her leg, we never received a response and still have not been acknowledged. In addition, we purchased a sunset tour when we booked the trip because it was advertised as being the cheapest cost and 2 of our tour group members booked it that day at half price. I submitted a picture of our reservation and a copy of the receipt the other group member had from their purchase that day to show the difference and respectfully request a refund of the difference in price. Again, when I contacted the tour guide of the day, she said that that was out of her control. Very dissatisfied with the communication and contact.
This was a simply amazing experience! Great variety of locations and tours, the hotels were all fantastic, transportation was comfortable and easy. The best thing about it was our guide, Nop. He was absolutely outstanding. He was very organized and gave each tourist an envelope with their itinerary and need to know info. He made sure everyone was comfortable and stayed together. He was funny and engaging, giving interesting information all along the way. He provided insight into Thai culture and was fantastic at answering all of our questions. He also went above and beyond with a very difficult tourist that was part of our group. Words cannot express how awful she was and what she put him through. Through it all, Nop kept everyone together and made sure we all had a fantastic experience.
This was the first time booking through an agency for me. They were easy to work with but that's about all that new positive. The hotels looked nothing like the photos of where we stayed. The accommodations were 2/3 stars at best. The rate to upgrade your tickets are astronomical compared to if you booked yourself then upgraded. I will just arrange everything myself next time and save money.
