A Memorable Experience on a Cozy Ship

As the Captain mentioned in his welcoming address, while they may not be the largest vessel, the crew is undoubtedly the most accommodating, friendly, and cheerful. The food was fantastic with a wide variety to select from. The entertainment was excellent, and the sailing was smooth. The cabins were satisfactory, and the bars and shops, especially the central court area, featured beautiful decor.

Communication and Pricing Issues

I haven't taken my booked cruise yet, but I had a question and noticed that the price has dropped by over £600, which makes booking early feel pointless with this company. After an hour on hold, I finally got through to a very helpful representative, but they don't seem to reply to emails, and messaging on social media isn't an option. Their recorded message constantly states they are busy, which doesn't change. The company really needs to enhance their communication systems. I won't be booking with them again; I'll go through an agent instead. Very disappointing.

Lack of Response

Eager to Return Home

Just left the cruise ship after a 14-night journey in the Caribbean and I can't wait to go home. I was very let down by the service and amenities on this cruise. The facilities and cabins were outdated and poorly maintained. The staff seemed untrained, and there were serious safety concerns regarding food allergies. The experience was overpriced and lacked genuine care, with argumentative staff and abrupt attitudes. Additionally, we had to wait six hours for a chartered flight.

Frustrating Cancellation Process

I recently booked a cruise but had to cancel due to medical reasons. I have emailed the company twice requesting the cancellation and received only standard replies asking me to wait up to 7 or then 10 working days. The initial 7 days are up, so now I have to wait another 10? If this is how their customer service operates, I'm relieved I am canceling.

Unacceptable Customer Service

The customer service is just terrible, not to mention the six-day wait for responses. We booked and paid in full for a cruise, but shortly after, my wife fell and severely injured herself, forcing us to cancel. The company showed no flexibility and retained almost the entire cost of the cruise. For this, they barely had to do anything but press a few buttons. How can they justify keeping all this money? Their response has been completely out of touch. I spent the entire week getting nowhere with their guest services, and it appears they have not even read my concerns.

Ongoing Issues on the Ship

Currently on day 7 of a 14-night cruise. I had a meeting four days ago with a customer service manager regarding the lack of control over the air conditioning in my cabin. He refused to share his email address to confirm my concerns. The service in the main breakfast lounge is chaotic, with staff arguing among themselves and being unwelcoming or rude. Dinner service has also been slow, taking up to three hours on some occasions. The seating process for meals is poorly organized, and many returning customers are expressing their frustration over these issues. As first-time travelers, this will sadly be our last experience with this company.

Disappointing Experience

Just returned from a 14-night cruise in the Caribbean, and it was a dreadful experience. The air conditioning was inadequate, and the buffets at breakfast and lunch were chaotic. Customer service was virtually non-existent, and my complaints were mostly overlooked. The staff seemed untrained, with some being rude and arguing in front of guests. Complaining to the reception was futile. I’ve never encountered a cruise where you had to pay for a glass of iced water unless you purchased a drinks package! Disembarkation was poorly managed; we were taken off the ship at 2 PM and waited six hours at the airport before our flight home. The ship is in dire need of refurbishment; we had a black sooty substance coming from the air conditioning vents. The decor was outdated, with Christmas decorations from the 1970s. A few staff members and managers admitted to struggling with the quality of their team. I would strongly advise against this company.

Improved Experience

The company has made some positive changes, leading to a very enjoyable gala night meal and show. The entertainers involved in the show deserve a five-star rating for their efforts. Our flight home was also pleasant. A big thank you to the crew and staff on the ship for their service.

Mixed Experience

Some improvements were noted during the maiden trip. Breakfast now includes proper sausage and bacon, and service seems better. Daytime entertainment still lacks variety, but evening shows have improved. The jacuzzis are now operational after being offline for five days. However, the lifts are still unreliable. Dinner service has improved, but the food remains inconsistent. Overall, the situation seems to be getting better, but it could have been resolved much sooner with dedicated repairs and staff training.
