Review Time
Not a pleasant experience.The original boarding time was 8.20 am, we were informed at the ticket counter that there will be a delay and the expected time of departure will be 9.35am.We boarded at 9.25 and we're waiting for take off .We had to wait for 1 hour when the plane finally took off at 10.25 am. We landed in muscat around 11.15am.There was no information given for the delay and any i felt the airline didn't really care too much. i have traveled with air Arabia on many occasions and have trust on them and the professional manner they operate. But this time I felt different and thought to comment. I still will fly with Air Arabia as I feel they are among the best.
i like Air Arabia Airline, one of the best airline. nice flight interior, best service. howver, tghere are some policy i am not happy such as the date change. when we do the date change, the fare is not same as normal way. this brings me sort of upset. but the service is good, on time fly and landing. but my yesterday flight was bit unhappy, it was delayed 1.30 hour. then when boarding still delay 20 minute. when fly the AC wasnt working perfectly throgh out the flying hours. it made me exausted. i never experianced such issue with Air Arabia. but i had this as first time. i hope they will take action on this moving forward and continue the quality servcie.
had a very bad experience with the Air Arabia ground staff at Sharjah Airport on my flight to Istanbul. Although all our checked luggage was underweight, on the way to the gate, they blocked us and tried to take us to a hidden spot under the stairs to weigh everything again and issue a ticket. the staff insisted on weighing every single carry-on item — including laptop bag and my personal handbag.This did not happen when we traveled with the same weight from Istanbul to Sharjah.When we asked for the manager and said we would record the situation, they became even more difficult. The behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope this incident is investigated seriously.
Be very careful when flying with Air Arabia.The ticket might seem cheap, but they take your money in other ways.After I completed check-in at Sharjah Airport and was already walking toward the Duty Free area, Air Arabia staff stopped me under the stairs and forced me to weigh my personal hand bag. They even weighed my phones and laptops, which no other airline counts as excess baggage.They claimed I was “over” by 6kg and charged me 85 AED per kilo. I ended up paying 510 AED for personal items that every traveler normally carries. I even have the receipts to prove it.The staff were rude, unhelpful, and refused to explain the logic behind weighing electronics separately after check-in. The whole thing felt like a trap to charge passengers extra money.This was an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. I will avoid Air Arabia in the future, and I hope other travelers are aware of these practices before booking.
At gate 23 of SHJ I was told that my luggage would be taken off the plane and delivered to Lost & Found. However, when I got there, they said they had no record of it. I wasn’t given any phone number or email to follow up, so I had no choice but to wait on site for over 8 hours — and still received no information at all.I’m trying to locate my baby stroller, which is essential when traveling with my child.Baggage number: 729796.Photos of the baggage tag and boarding pass are attached
