The worst & most arrogant company to deal with . 47 attempts /30 hours/22 posts later and the left does not know what the right is up to. completely unaccountable staff and no senior management to grasp and resolve any situation. broken English , broken phone lines, broken system.
Unsuitable unsafe & hazards arrived at our holiday cottage on the 20th September2025 at the harbour cottage in Ramsgate for a 7 day stay. Property totally unsuitable so contacted Airbnb straight away, apart generated messages had no reply for the first 3 days after which the communication was very poor. Time zones very poor. Also tried to contact me at 02:50 a.m. offered 30% for 5 days which is totally unacceptable as I stay is for seven, properties offered are totally unsuitable. Whole customer service is absolutely appalling and unsympathetic to our needs. Totally disappointed with Airbnb. Would never recommend anybody going through them unless you really want to be living any nightmare. Totally unprofessional can't express how unset our party has been with experience
I want rent a listing wich was on Rbnb the dates are available but before I want to proceed I have sent to the host and have been waiting 4 days and still until know no respond. Contacted Rbnb and they just advise to look further. What is the meaning to offer something on Rbnb with no respond and the solution for Rbnb is to look further
This is by far the WORST company that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After my trip someone fraudulently obtained my debit card number and booked a stay with my card. Airbnb took only 1 hour to review the case and then closed it stating that a friend or family member (or someone who stole my card) must have placed the reservation. When I asked them to give me the thieves name who made the reservation with MY CARD they refused for privacy issues. So instead of PROTECTING an honest customer, they are protecting a criminal who is enjoying a stay in one of Airbnbs locations on my dime. I have opened an investigation with my BANK who WILL get my money back after the do a THOROUGH investigation. My suggestion to you, go somewhere else to book your stay. These people are outsourced to another country all together, and they could care LESS about helping you.
Tried to sign up for Air Bnb and they require my date of birth. The website forces a calender input. That's fine for arranging a stay/booking within the next few weeks.But making me scroll month by month to input my date of birth... I'm 42. I am not scrolling over 500 times to get to my DOB.Why can't I just input my dob by typing.Minimum age for registering is 18 so everyone has to scroll at least 216 months just for the minimun age.Website designed by an idiot!I'm not sure if the experience is any better on a computer but mobile and desktop browsing experience is shit from a mobile phone.Closed the site, booked a hotel on big chain website instead and then came here to leave this review. Cannot comment on any hotels booked. My experience is purely on the website.
Whenever you been a nice visitor (host) at an expensive stay because of airbnb stay and they gave you no review, Airbnb is not your friend in confrontating the bad room renting party with this. So airbnb is only getting the money and is not doing anything about it.
We've been using this service for years, but this time we encountered some difficulties. The host provided one set of information before booking, but after payment and the free cancellation deadline had passed, they sent different information. These conditions don't suit us. We tried canceling the reservation through both the host and customer support, but they simply didn't care. This is our last trip using this service; we'll use another one that at least allows cancellation.
Avoid at all costs.- their hosts can cancel you a confirmed stay- as a "solution" Airbnb provides you a list of stays 30km away with prices 50-100% up- Airbnb intentionally forbids you from putting a honest review on such unreliable hosts so you are unable to warn the others- their customer support is full of nice pre-fabricated sentences, solves nothing and then blocks you to not to disturb them again
