The stay was overall fine and matched the description. Check-in went smoothly, and the place had the basic facilities needed. Cleanliness and comfort were acceptable, though nothing particularly impressive. Communication with the host was okay, but some small details could be improved to make the experience better. Overall, it was an average stay.
Absolutely terrible customer service for a loyal customer and host:I have been using Airbnb for 10 years and had a nasty host who wrote a made up review about me and spent hours trying for them to remove it. I had all these re assurances that they were working on removing it and a lot of lies in the end because they never really intended to remove it. What I can say is that as a company they have gotten bigger and bigger and this time charged me 200£ for a week's holiday service charges for no support whatsoever. Bad customer service and cannot recommend them neither for holidays or for hosting. Saying you will help somebody and actually helping someone are two different things. Definitely a one star for the customer service and help but this time an honest review not the made up one that I was served.
Rented a place with WiFi to work remotely. Got there and there is no WiFi.Airbnb was going to refund my stay and made me book elsewhere. Their message:I can see that you've successfully booked the reservation using the coupon. Once again I'm truly apologetic for the inconvenience that you've had to go through. I also understand the hassle that it must feel for you to reach out to us for the refund on the day of your early check-out (September 27, 2025). Once Airbnb was synonymous of quality. Today it has become a garbage dump pairing up with other cheap quality online agencies. I have booked a “your own room in a home…….” to end up in a cheap disgusting hostel where you sleep on the floor without any piece of furniture on the 7th floor and you must take a shower on the ground floor. Airbnb should be reported for fraud and fake declarations. This is not a home, this is a 8 floor’s building.

It has become evident that the seven five-star reviews for Zen Apartments are likely fabricated or from individuals associated with the property owner.Following our stay, we filed a dispute with the host, who demonstrated a lack of professionalism and basic business understanding. Unfortunately, Airbnb's dispute resolution process mirrored the issues encountered with Zen Apartments, leaving us without a satisfactory resolution.
