Customer service is inexistant

Customer service is inexistant. No reply on messages (against 0-2 min mentioned)I am currently holding the line for 50 min and about to hang up as it is almost 17.00Big compagny, no customer experience process in place, what a shame

Run far from this website

If you are owner, run from this website ! Try to find the way to rent without this stupid people ! They not respect the owner ! All for the guest, even if the are lying and play you and are dirty and broke ! They will never trust you as the owner ! They only care about the guest !

Airbnb only cares about the host as…

Airbnb only cares about the host as they generate revenue from the host. They have monopoly of the market so those who need a place dont know how to go to other sites like VRBO, booking.com is slowly opening to private host now. I stayed at Nantes France in Mirielle's place at 2 Bis Rue de Olivettes and she had instructions about how to get a lockbox key at a narrow dark alley. So I had to leave early the nest day while it is dark out I am a single solo senior traveller so I requested to leave the key inside the home instead and she agreed and she later complained and made a review that I did not follow her check out instructions. The home did not have heat so I informed her and she planned not to come till tomorrow while it is 8 degrees outside that night. When I complained that if the heat is not fixed the next day I will go to a hotel she showed up at the door unannounced. She complained that I did not place the trash in her trash bins downstairs. I collected the trash but informed her that I cannot put it in the locked closet downstairs because it needed the key that i left inside the home and the locked trash closet is on the way out. She complained of the one cleaned and rinsed plate i left at the sink, and that the coffeemaker was not cleaned. I used the coffeemaker and i paid as a guest cleaning fee. I travel the world using airbnb and not once did a host complained that they have to rinse the coffeemaker ? this is part of the fee we paid as guest!!! Airbnb published the reviews and did not even care about the guest. host giving me a good review was not published. DO NOT BOOK AIRBNB- I now choose to just stay in hotel. Cancellation is easy and lobby attendants are helpful for taxi etc. DO NOT USE AIRBNB there are other websites to use to book for accomodation.

disgusting system

disgusting system, they take your money and return a week later, a good parallel business, a very high tariff for services of an unknown type, apart from stupid calls and bot messages, they actually do not solve anything when problems arise, it’s a shame that there is still no other company with for this type of service, I would gladly refuse their service

Don't waste your time in this platform…

Don't waste your time in this platform they told you they gonna cover the damage by guests but i actually they don't in my case ( [CLSF-02255027] [HM8CSWWNM4] a guest broke my expensive TV and all they did is shutdown my account I've been working on it 5 months, that's so disappointing

Abysmal Company

Abysmal application that requires masses of personnel information and several photographs. Attempted to book a property but after 2 days it hadn’t gone through. Tried to message them and no reply! A totally useless company and app? Avoid!!!

Camera in the apartment I stayed - Airbnb wouldn't do anything

The apartment I stayed in Sep 2023 in Nice, France had a camera inside the property that was aimed at front door and the adjacent door which opens to the toilet. This was not mentioned in the advert by the host. And this was against the Airbnb policy. However, despite my reporting this issue to Airbnb, they did not take any action. And they simply buried the complaint under the carpet. Airbnb only cares about the money and how much it can make, but not the safety or privacy of its customers. Secondly, I also submitted a genuine review about the pros and cons based on my experience while staying in that apartment and Airbnb has not published it, which is a transparency issue. Also highlights how genuine they are when it comes to disclosing negatives which is misleading the customer and not helping them to make the right choices. So be careful when you book places to stay on Airbnb and don't be surprised if this ever happens to you. I have all the evidence pictures and particulars to share to support this review. So there is nothing to hide. Airbnb please come clean.Also for reference, the property is located at 255 Prom Des Anglais, Nice France. Hosted by Martine.

Airbnb need hosts to make money and don't care how they treat their vulnerable house guests. Do not stay with Ivan at Luxor apartments in split.

AIR BNB!!!! WOEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AVOID AT ALL COSTS! So our long weekend away has been ruined by the utterly dismal Air BnB. Our first accomodation was booked back in June for the 8th - 11th September for my mum's and husbands birthday, bearing in mind Mum has never been to Brighton and was really looking forward to it. On the morning of the 8th of September (departure date) We received an email from the host Juliana saying it was cancelled! Great, thanks for letting me know by email and not having the decency to call me directly and explain why it was cancelled at such short notice. After trying multiple times to contact Juliana (who refused to reply or answer my phone calls) I then contacted Airbnb. An advisor on the end of the phone asked me to look for other accommodation and not worry about the price. I looked for alternative accommodation and found it. Thus shelling out an extra £244 for a second accommodation. Have a look at the pictures below to see the disgusting mess we paid the extra £244 for! The place stank, there was a disgusting mess of rubbish outside, we couldn't get hold of Airbnb to gain access despite trying to ring the new host on several different occasions. Eventually after hanging around for sometime we got the key code and enter the property. I wish we hadn't bothered. It was disgusting! Let's bear in mind that this accommodation cost over £200 per night, the oven hadn't been cleaned in years, there was blood on the mattresses, there was dust and filth everywhere. It stank! This was advertised as a rooftop garden with seaview. See the pictures. Have a laugh at that! For the third time this day, I contacted Airbnb again this time to let them know that we would not be staying in this accommodation because of the filth. They eventually found us another accommodation. However, this third accommodation is now costing over £800 for a 3 night. I don't know what it is about airbnbs, but this accommodation also smells of rank fish. When we arrived at the third property at 6:00 p.m. there was a cleaning crew in the property giving it a deep clean. Yes I appreciate that this was happening. However this accommodation is in no way shape or form worth over £800 for a 3 night stay. The bathroom mirror light does not work and is corroding around the edge. The shower head is dirty and rusting. There is an electrical point just behind the front door which is hanging off. The Windows are filthy and haven't been cleaned for years not exactly a high end apartment! So now we are in an ongoing dispute with Air BnB for the difference between the price of the first accommodation, which was cancelled due to no fault of our own, and the amount of over £800 for the third woefully inadequate accommodation. I do not think this is unreasonable. We have been offered coupons which I may add are below the difference in price. As if we would ever use Air BnB again

The worst of the worst and horrific…

The worst of the worst and horrific service I have ever encountered in my life. If I could give 0 star, I would have done it. I booked 2 nights in an apartment via Airbnb. The next day when I checked the bank statement, I was double charged so I made a claim both Airbnb and the bank. Airbnb told me to contact my bank as Airbnb only changed once. Then I contacted to the bank to make a claim. The next day Airbnb automatically cancelled my reservation, just 5 days before our trip, by saying that the payment didn’t go through. I have conducted what’s necessary as demanded by Airbnb and now our reservation was cancelled. I recontactes Airbnb to know what’s going on and they couldn’t answer me. Instead they suggested me a few other listing options so that I can book another place. We have booked an entire apartment, but what they proposed me was way far from the initial booking place, or shared apartment with the host etc… non of the criteria was matching. What a pity, they offered me 20% of the initial booking price as a coupon to recompense the « damage » but all the listing left was 2 or 3 times more expensive than our initial booking so no way to book as our budget was limited. It was scandalous as no one understands the mechanism of the « double charge » investigation system and if you follow their instructions, you would lose your booking reservation and you have to pay 2-3 times more so that you can find another place to stay. I would normally wouldn’t write negative reviews as it is a personal experience but this was just outrageous. The double payment is not rectified yet either. No service available and yet I don’t understand why they have a « Airbnb service charge ». I am physically and mentally sick due to this incident and I was obligated to cancel the trip.
