My family is renting out a property and got framed by their guests in order to not pay their stay. They sent fake and unreal photos to airbnb, asking for a full refund of their stay !! Airbnb didn’t even take the time to analyse the situation, the company just decided the NOT pay us.This is completly SHAMEFUL to treat custumers this way, they are not even protecting them from FRAUD.
Terrible service. So called protection for guests did nothing for us. Could not find alternative accommodation after storm and offered us no financial compensation. Lost track of how many different people we spoke to, all who said they would help and all did absolutely nothing.
We rented out an apartment which ended being infested with bed bugs. We tried contacting bnb for help but they never got back to us instead we had to get last minute train tickets to leave since they didn’t help us find a new apartment to stay for the remaining days.
It's run by third world countries hiring people who cannot fix anything, EXPLOITED folks at that, when you ring them, they are oblivious to your questions, cannot help in any way. I have a reservation May 10, and this STUPID, WORTHLESS, SENSLESS app has blocked my account, I'm outside of the US and have left my phone behind, do not want FBook, and this app refuses to help through Gmail. It is RUBBISH. WHERE is this nightmare of an app managed from? WHAT is managing WHAT on Airbnb? It's worse and worse! There is NO excuse for this ongoing mess! If there is an occurence of hacking, it's from 3rd world countries! STOP whatever it is you are doing! I'm filing this complaint, hoping for major sackings of poorly trained unqualified people, EXPLOITED I'm convinced of it - WHY? ZERO HELP, ZERO RESULTS! Staff must be properly trained and efficient in problem solving!!!
Customer service is very crapI had a problem with the website, open all the calendar date. I didn't want it, so I got 3 date book immediately as I live somewhere very visited. I paid the entire fee for 3 bookings, didn't ask for the money back, but it block me the calendar date for later. I asked for them to waive it, but they keep referring me the policy about blocking the date. It is say if you get a reason they can waive it, they didn"t give any exemple so it is as you want it to be. but the agent stay stuborn to say it is not ok. It make airbnb, traveler and I to lose opportunity... The website is very difficult to use as a host. the charges are quite high. I will use another service from no on
Très déçue d'Airbnb.. La dernière fois que j'ai eu recours à eux le logement était vraiment très sale. Mais là surprise, leur assurance ne prends pas en charge les problèmes de logement sale, et ce même si cela rend le logement à la limite de l'insalubre et que vous avez des photos qui le prouvent! Cela est quand même assez dommage étant donné qu'un logement sale est je pense possiblement un des problèmes les plus fréquents que vous pouvez rencontrer... Et quand on voit la marge qu'Airbnb se prend pour chaque location... Very disappointed with Airbnb. The last time I used them the accommodation was really very dirty. But there surprise, their insurance does not support the problems of dirty accommodation, even if it makes the accommodation borderline unsanitary and you have photos that prove it! This is still quite a shame given that a dirty accommodation is, I think, possibly one of the most frequent problems you can encounter... And when you see the margin that Airbnb takes for each rental...
Please be careful when booking . Don’t get caught out. Some unscrupulous landlords charge a deposit of 500 euros ( cheque or cash ) (who uses cheque nowadays😟 ) and an exit charge of 60-100 euros for cleaning. This is on top of the full charges you pay when you book.There is no full visibility. In my opinion there should be NO hidden charges by landlords. This loophole is being exploited and Airbnb does nothing about it and it’s never displayed when you book !!!!Be warned and don’t be caught out 👎
