I am host of a or BnB which I pay them…

I am host of a or BnB which I pay them commissions to put guest in my hose and use there online platform. A couple of times this has happened to me lately they send guest, and everything is fine until you realise that while staying they have damaged or broken something. So you have to go through airbnb insurance I wonld go into some of it but you you would believe some of it. So you have complained taken pictures get invoices prove it go into it some of that has happened asked them to to pay they say no because one ruined carpet I am dealing with now is 320 pounds. So after all this you lend your home out these people get to leave a review on you, now I have done nothing wrong you have proof before and after there stuck would you leave and honest and impartial review

Airbnb stranded me in a fake listing…

Airbnb stranded me in a fake listing and refuses to take accountability.I was sold a listing in Lakeview, Chicago, but ended up miles away in North Center. The dishwasher didn’t work, the dishes were dirty, with hardly and mismatched silverware, and I’ve been stuck 10 days without a key to the building — unable to enter without relying on the host. Loud, daily thumping noises made it nearly impossible to work or rest.Airbnb’s “Aircover” failed me. They offered no real relocation help and now threaten to withhold refund eligibility because I “chose to stay” — as if I had other options while traveling with dogs and belongings, and no replacement was provided.Despite a BBB complaint, photos, and proof that the listing remains falsely advertised, Airbnb continues to downplay the severity and shift the blame. Even on Easter Sunday, they sent messages attempting to limit refunds and close the case — rather than resolve it.I’m putting this out publicly because no one should be stranded or gaslit like this by a global platform. Consumers deserve transparency, safety, and accountability — not threats and neglect.#Airbnb #AirbnbNightmare #ConsumerRights #Chicago #TravelSafety #BBB #ShortTermRental #Accountability

What really is the point of leaving…

What really is the point of leaving this review are the bosses of airbnb going to read it, highly unlikely probably just someone in their MASSIVE call centre somewhere in India.A guest arrives at my place and I ask her before she arrives have you read everything about my listing and the reply oh yes. fast forward the guest decides to leave without any explanation in the middle of night, I politely ask I hope everything was ok, was there a problem? I receive no reply but see she read my message. Two days Later she writes a review and I write one her, mine saying something like how can I give a honest review of guest, when she suddenly left with no explanation, I was not rude or impolite. Her review is published full of lies from complaining the bed was not big enough even though its listed exact, she did not the hours of the spa in room, even though I repeat it six times on my listing, other rubbish the shower gel was to wet, half used toilet roll and other lies. I ask to get her review removed and speak to countless people with no power do anything in India, if I hear the sentence I am sorry for the inconvenience caused I m going to explode. My review was taken down and airbnb refused to give me any reason and her review of my place remains. I was told that it does not matter how accurate your listing is, it's all down to the guest experience!! so if the guest has a fight with her other half, becomes sick;, has a bad meal at the restaurant the guest has every right according to airbn to write what they want along as they do not swear!!! its utterly outrageous and very unfair. airbnb have these people working in India and paying them peanuts they have no control, no power the billionaires who own airbnb just slam the door in the host face but so happy to take the commission, its sick. The review system on airbnb is a total farce. The woman who stayed at my place had serious mental issues no doubt but other hosts wont know how she behaved because her reviews from hosts are not being published. Airbnb and Booking are liars and thieves.

Untrustworthy hosts

Owner sent a massive bill after our stay making false accusations of breaking appliances we didn’t even use. I will stay away from this site in future.

1 star too many

1 star too many! Our accommodation was uninhabitable due to dirt, broken appliances, and cockroaches. Airbnb’s intentional delay tactics have ruined my trip and we have had to pay for additional accommodation. Despite repeatedly providing clear evidence of the issues and spending hours on chat, Airbnb offered a mere fraction of a refund. Airbnb’s intentionally dismissive responses and refusal to offer fair compensation have ruined my trip. I have been advised to escalate the matter through my bank, consumer authorities, and review platforms.Shockingly bad customer service - designed to fob people off and wear them down in the hope they will just give up. Do NOT give up! They are ripping people off and cannot be permitted to continue in this manner.

Customer service is absolutely shocking…

Customer service is absolutely shocking and that's the understatement of the year. After refusing to pay me as a host for hosting their guests for the past 6 months I've tried everything to get a response but the department that deal with it dont have a phone number, and the department you get through to on the phone say they cant help but the department that can deal with it will write me back so I wait, I message, I wait, I message, I wait and they NEVER write back!! I call again to find out whats happening with my now £11000.00 PAYOUT and yet again Im told they cant help me but the department that can, dont have a phone number but they'll write me back. I wait, I message, I wait etc... this cycle goes round and round and round on repeat. I've now had no choice but to seek legal action and all of a sudden, the department that deals with it did actually deal with it and I finally got paid. Funny how things work!!!

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! IF YOU FIND YOURSELF WITH A PROBLEM BECAUSE OF BEING MISLEAD BY AN INACCURATE DESCRIPTION OF A PROPERTY WHICH WILL HAPPEN REGULARLY, CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE THE HOST SIDE BECAUSE THATS WHO'S PAYING THEM. There's a reason why they have 90% 1 star reviews they are terrible.

I can't believe this is a public company

I can't believe that this is a public company. The model they've built to decentralize hospitality as Uber decentralized taxying, is good. But using their service, it is clear that they've underestimated the difficulty.Rather than scaling back, their greed forces them to expand with a model that doesn't work. These host can never be hotels. They're lazy, laid back, greedy, they want to do very little for a lot of money. AirBnB sees it and refuses to listen. Their customer service is based out of the Philippines which is of a different time zone than the people they're supposed to be serving. So they'll end up calling you at midnight and leaving a scripted message for 3 nights in a row.

AIRBNB refusing to keep to their promise

Sadly, it seems that this mega-company has a difficult time refunding the 10 USD they promised in their communication. Days and days have gone by, and no refund. Just canned messages... SO SAD. On to Booking.com.
