Super Host? Really? Illegal host in NOLA… I told you she’s a huge liar too her reviews said filthy and sofa stains two different people ‘ before I went I appealed her 3rd try different well on each of her 3 bnb in one DOUBLE in Nola ‘ not allowed (found out later ) you actully sucked 299 out of my social security check which is illegal and I didn’t hurt her already carpet beetle infested house I won that case but you take my money for an already stained sofa and she said she had to replace her filthy rug! It is still in the photos lied told you it’s a little over a year old ? She’s had that photo on there for 3 years ! She has some weird guy that is scared of dogs doing maintance he came in the unit while I was naked no anoucment from Natalia or them then he goes in the back my DOGS plural are playing . He’s up a tree freaking out for zero reason both wanting pets and wagging tails his lying wife the maid with zero vacuum comes freaked out “let my husband go” let him go!? What ? He’s in the back trapped by your dogs? What ? No he wasn’t then ‘ my beautiful boy was Taken from the locked by a code gate to back yard ‘ ! No other way out I am not in my element I am not on vacation I’m in shock ‘ I do what THYE say I notify Natalia ! She doesn’t respond’ at all! She knew ‘ I did t realize it then the sofa thing starts so I’m thinking I’m going to get thrown out .. nope but at 5 till 11 that crazy scary guy is banging screaming get out get out trying to get in he had a key thank god my dog stood between us! He’s crazy ! I lost so much $ and items ! Also the other one I stayed at also illegal and not a luxury one ! Well guess what since you caused me harm and stress since I diner get my money i paid for my dog (I can’t even look at his picture he needs medical attn too) and 3k your ins is a joke your investigations are laughable I proved I didn’t hurt her sofa and that she’s filthy ! But nope you took my money delicned both full refunds due to illegal activity the homes aren’t liscneds and not legal in NOLA! I showed you the law ! Both of your cash cows wone well since you have caused great distress I can sue you I don’t have to go to arbitration at all! I learned and you’re Incompetent investigator emails me and such a jerk bs how I lost rhe appeal ? Did no one look! They don’t read anythigng and I was threatened a bunch the day I left she tired to get me to pay for one poop too! My dog was terrified crazy man who is dangerous is scramming wirh his fist up ! Oh he was trying to hit me and hurt me … so yeah that last poop nope not picked up! I miss my dog he stole or killed and I’m so distraught and you stole money you should have just refunded me ! I’m reporting both of the NOLA bnb they know you don’t check them another reason I can sue ! Not covered in arbitration so ! See you in court ! Small claims no lawyers for you! I have solid proof! So yeah either refund me now today like your reps in the phone say or see you’ in CA small claims since that’s where I’m from ! En tant qu’hôte Airbnb, je suis extrêmement déçu par cette plateforme.À chaque location, j’ai constaté que des objets disparaissaient régulièrement de mon studio, et que d’autres étaient endommagés à la fin des séjours. Malgré mes signalements répétés, aucune mesure concrète n’a été prise.Mais deux cas en particulier ont rendu la situation intenable :Un locataire a pris les clés du logement et ne les a jamais rendues. Airbnb n’a strictement rien fait pour m’assister.Une locataire a gravement endommagé le studio et affirme avoir été agressée par deux individus qui ont aussi volé les clés. Cela a nécessité un changement immédiat de la serrure, et j’ai transmis les factures. Aucune réponse ni remboursement.Airbnb n’a jamais proposé de solution ou même de conseil.Aucun suivi, aucune réactivité, aucune protection. Airbnb ne prend pas ses responsabilités envers les hôtes.Il est clair que ce qui compte pour Airbnb, c’est avant tout leur commission, pas la sécurité ni la satisfaction des hôtes.Résultat : un investissement perdant, une expérience épuisante, et un sentiment d’abandon total.Je déconseille fortement Airbnb à tout hôte qui cherche un minimum de sérieux et de sécurité.Negative review of Airbnb – Deeply disappointed host:As an Airbnb host, I am extremely disappointed with this platform.With each booking, I noticed that items regularly disappeared from my studio, and others were found damaged after guests left. After hosting thousands of guests over 9 years on Airbnb and earning Superhost status every quarter, I never thought I’d say this: Airbnb is no longer the best platform for professional hosts.In the past, Airbnb was exceptional — responsive, host-focused, and clearly ahead of Booking.com in both technology and support. But in the last 12–18 months, things have changed dramatically.Host support has collapsed. There is no longer anyone to speak to who can understand your situation. We recently had a guest who overstayed, broke house rules, then left a false and retaliatory review. Despite clear proof, Airbnb refused to remove it. One of their team members even admitted that Airbnb has internally stopped removing reviews, even for no-show guests — regardless of their own published policies.Meanwhile, Booking.com has stepped up. We now have an account manager who knows our property, helps resolve issues quickly, and values our business. Guests on that platform tend to pay more, cause fewer issues, and there’s actually someone on the other side when you need support.It’s painful to say, but Airbnb has fallen far behind. I used to want Airbnb to grow as part of our business — now we’re doing everything we can to reduce our reliance on it.Airbnb was built on trust — between guests, hosts, and the platform. That trust is now fading, and unless the company acts quickly to rebuild it, they risk losing the very community that made Airbnb successful in the first place.
AirBnB's appalling treatment of hosts is on parallel with Trump's America. I've been a host for 15 years. I work really hard at it. I offer my guests instant support, a clean, well maintained, newly furnished studio a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower. We offer to send the cleaner back immediately if anything is out of place. We immediately fix anything if it breaks. I took all the photos. I list the exact measurement of the apartment and as a journalist am at pain's to be accurate and fair. But AirBnB is not deserving of such a high level of service and dedication for the following reason. Rather than protect long term hosts, it frequently puts its trusts in reviews by guests that violate all of its policies by lying, then tells hosts the reviews do not violate its policies, and then it delists the hosts. I just had a group of six Koreans check in. They booked for two. Stole my laptop and jewelry. Broke my WiFi box. Smoked. Used all of our bedding and left the place in a state. Sent in non stop lies to get a discount, took all keys with them including the emergency key. Then left a 1star review. Although I disproved everything they said, AirBnB delisted me because of these lies and I was locked out of my own home. They said they would pay to replace the keys but not the lock. I was awarded 300 Euros for these damages which amounted to more than 3,000 Euros. People move to other platforms. We built their platform. In Trump's America only lies count. Even photos showing an immaculately cleaned apartment by an agency and five star reviews mean nothing. It's a scandal.
I am a property host using air BnB, booking.com and VRBO. I get most of my bookings from air BnB. I find the website easy to use, you don’t need a different website if you are a host which is the case with booking.com and VRBO. There is a dedicated host team if you have any questions or problems and they have always responded and helped me when I needed help. Of the 3 platforms I use, Air BnB is by far the best. I really haven’t had any issues to warrant giving them a bad review. I’ve knocked off 1 star as I think the host payments could be a bit quicker but that’s all.
Have been listing a home on Airbnb for years and was a Superhost for 3 straight years, then all of a sudden they cancelled my platform and cancelled all my bookings and told me that I was similar to someone who isn’t allowed to be on Airbnb. They will not address my questions and keep telling me someone will contact me but no one has. I think this company really won’t be in business much longer at this rate. It’s too bad though because we met a lot of good people.
I am 3 years host, Superhost in fact. I manage 15 apartments in the South of France. Now I had a scammer in the apartment and she invented many things: not the correct address ( is Airbnb verified) and many other things like that no cousins, no covers etc etc . I spent 2 days discussing with Airbnb to take off that bed review, but they declined. Not very pro-host friendly. All my apartments have a 5*, it is obvious that she was a scammer. If this is a new policy from Airbnb, to support scammers, thank you very much Airbnb :((((
I have been a super host for 4 years on Air bb a guest of mine made a 3rd party booking for her workers but booked them in to the wrong cottage . This was a last min booking they arrived with out my permission earlier than agreed . They drank all the wine and ate all the welcome pack . Used bathroom and kitchen before they decided not to stay as they wanted a bedroom each . . I contacted Air bb straight a way and told of the situation . The guest who booked the cottage failed to cancel the booking till the next day of which I had to remind he to do so . I deducted £100 from her refund as to cover replacement of welcome pack cleaning etc . But air BB advised me to give a full refund as good will which I did . So here’s the sting Air Bb paid me the £100 refund in to my account but only put the refund down in the resolution centre as £362 . They deducted 462 from my next bookings and only paying be the difference of £262 for the refund to the customer . I am £100 short. A whole day of phone calls talking to advisers and managers to get them to understand this was beyond rediculous.They agreed twice and I have it on a message that my pay out was £362 bur they change their minds and policies as they go along to suit them selves even the manager said it was £362 and then took another £100 … because he could !!!! It was no no and let me explain ….. they just could not see it or didn’t want to . This is Fraud .Trying to help a guest get last min accommodation cutting my birthday celebration also short to do so has cost me dear . I will never be giving a refund again they are a disgrace and should be ashamed they need exposing for what they are
Be aware with this Airbnb website, they are crooked, I rent this place in Puerto Rico Rico at the 25th but at next day I have to cancel the reservation because my brother have to the ER, they canceled yes but they keep more than the half of my money I almost a$1000 and they keep more than the half I contac the host his name is Luigi!! The name of the place Spacious&Cozy Gem~and this guy declined my request and communicated with me. Be aware with this website save your money book the hotel you can’t trust this people in Puerto Rico and this website.
Absolutely shocking host support. Nearly 1 month on, I’m still trying to find out why all Airbnbs payments to PayPal failed - their support is RUBBISH, I keep going round in circles as the support team DON’T / CAN’T read my messages properly! Absolute rubbish!
