I always used to book event insurance for missed events but definitely won't anymore after trying for my first claim. They take your money but then when you can't actually attend they 'can't find your insurance policy' even if you send them the specific information they ask for and include the ticket service provider email with the confirmation. I emailed on the 15th April, they replied on the 22nd, I emailed again on the same day, and again a month later, and again a week after that, then they wait another month before replying asking for the same information already provided. Save your time and money. Event insurance is a scam. In the unlikely event you do miss an event, well you've already saved from your previous booking having not booked this 'insurance' that you can never claim on.
