No stars if I could!! absolute joke of a company i got my house insurance through these guys was contacted few days later asking if I wanted emegancy cover incase the worst ever happened I would get quick repairs done only to be told 8 years later when my roof started leaking and damaging my home that they don't cover flat roofs and that I should have read the leaflet they send after falsely selling me a product I'm not legible for! Why should I read something they already knew I had a flat roof as I stated it when I took my cover out! So they should do some reading of their own! Complaints department not interested as usual for companies like this!..... as you can see from all the other reviews here stay away from them authorities need to step in with these fraudsters taking hardworking people's money for nothing in return scum the lot of them and hope it happens to friends or family of them one day see how they feel!!!
Bought this insurance when booking tickets for Strictly Dancing in October. Also booked train tickets to get there. I have a medical condition that means I need to plan where toilets are on my journey. The train means there are toilets at the stations and of course on the train itself. Unfortunately the trains were on strike due to industrial action so we wouldn’t have been able to get home. Refused to pay the claim as they said we had plenty of time to get alternative transport. Have told them the reason why we couldn’t do this, but nobody has bothered to reply.
Claimed for an event following the sad death of my lovely mum. The whole process was very straightforward only needing to explain our situation and provide a copy of the death certificate and invoice for the event. The money was refunded in to my account within a week of making my claim. I would recommend taking this insurance out.
Dishonest company with shocking customer service. They find any excuse not to abide by their own contractual terms and conditions to pay out on a claim. Everytime I provide evidence to the contrary they come up (after two months of zero contact) with another excuse. Not only this but they refuse to answer queries. I last sent my evidence on 19th May. I’ve chased on the 24th, 28th and now the 5th June but heard no response. Every communication I’ve ever received from them (bar a subject access request) has been communicated via an unrecorded phone call from the dealership. It all feels really disingenuous and dodgy.
Bought this insurance via Ticketmaster for a concert that my daughter bought me surprise tickets for my birthday.The venue was an hour away but due to rush hour traffic, torrential rain and winds it took over 2 hours.We arrived at the theatre in Bradford to a sign on the door that said the show was cancelled and the decision had been made at 4.30pm !Ticketmaster sent a text at 8.04pm 1 hour after the show would have started !Tried to claim for travel costs to be told we couldnt ? it was not covered ??? She only wanted some petrol money for a 2 hour journey !!!DO NOT BUY TICKET INSURANCE IT IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON
Took out insurance for a concert on two tickets.. we can't attend has both of us have fallen ill .. arthritic flare up.. and covid for my friend... couldn't contact them as the email addresses and numbers are obsolete.. I did ring their head office and was diverted to someone who dealt with my issue who sent me an email with a claim form the problem is I have to have written doctors and specialist letters to send as proof before they'll entertain giving me a refund.. absolute robbery and a disgrace this company needs investigating and I am going to contact the ombudsman tomorrow.. avoid these (legal!!!) scammers..
Scammers, be careful, do not buy this insuranceI have the Travel Insurance Policy - Policy : KLMGB7000065498.I had an accident while I was going to the airport, and I missed my fight.So I had to buy another fight it cost me £905, and I had to book a hostel it cost me about £22.They are just scammers, be careful, do not buy this insurance, it is just rubbish.I will take them to the court.
OMG - DO NOT BUY from these useless people! We were delayed for 24 hours in December 2022, we were due a £200 claim from January, we now at 28th November! 10 calls later - at least 1 hour each time! We have celled these people today to tell them we are reporting them to the financial ombudsman, they said we need to speak to the client services team as the FO will need a final letter from them to allow us to report them, so far - and we are still on hold, we've been waiting 1:46 minutes! You couldnt make this up. We will be claiming for time, cost of calls and distress caused as they're really affecting my wifes mental health!
