I thought this company was good...i was…

I thought this company was good...i was hospitalised on holiday and they paid all hospital fees before i was discharged, great, BUT THEN..when I get home and claim for all medications, doctor call outs, medical centre visits, hotel confinement they have become an absolutely horrendous company to deal with their left hand does not know what the right is doing. Had to send info 3 times due to "not receiving it" They owe me just short of £1,000 since the end of Feb, they sent me a payment confirmation letter on the 27th April stating i would be paid in 5 -10 working days, it's now the 23rd June and still nothing. Sick of speaking to them every week and still being lied to saying finance haven't pressed the button, even though everyone I have spoken to has emailed finance asking them to! Hours wasted holding on the phone to then be cut off! I escalated it higher to complaints, but guess what, they don't even respond to the emails requesting and update nor do they answer the phone. Everyone I have spoken to have said they have passed it to management so I asked to speak to the manger, yep you guessed it..you can't because they aren't customer facing. Total joke and ABSOLUTELY APPALLING COMPANY! DO NOT USE

Had to cancel holiday for April this…

Had to cancel holiday for April this year due to being diagnosed with cancer. Insurance is through my Halifax account so felt quite confident. Rang, explained, was informed what was needed and that claims form would be posted out. Had surgery started treatment, no claims form. Rang to see what happening.. not been sent. Then sent by email. All filled in and supporting docs inc hospital consultants letters sent, signed for 24/3. And so I waited. Nothing. Emailed. Nothing. Rang to get someone who was obviously working from home as she repeatedly dropped her headset and you could hear her eating breakfast. Was told bank details didn’t match, she checked, they did, said error on their part. Then said there wasn’t a hospital stamp on medical form , my bad I didn’t check. Asked what to do to be told it needed a stamp but they weren’t returning it for me to get it stamped. In end she told me a supporting letter from consultant would suffice. Letter done and sent only to be contacted saying that was unacceptable and new medical form would have to be sent with stamp. Cancer treatment and stress don’t go well together! New form sent and signed for 11/4 and nothing. 2 emails sent and never been replied to. Phone call made to be told it takes time. Rang again today 26/4 very nice gentleman on phone to be told needed stamped medical form! Explained it had been signed for at their end 11/4 to then be told oh yes, it’s not been looked at yet!! Then quotes back back account money will be paid to and it’s not my account, despite already having had it confirmed as what is on claim form… Abdolute shambles of a company. The money I’m due back I need to cover my wages while I’m on sick, it’s just not good enough.

Dreadful company - will not pay out

I made a claim on April 24. Was told it would be sorted in 10-15 days. Just spoke to them (June 21) and was told it usually takes 3-8 weeks. They put me through to customer services - now been waiting 45 minutes to speak to someone but will be amazed if they ever answer. Is this company really part of Allianz? Feels like a scam designed to take money but never pay out

Utterly Shambolic - The Battle Continues

As others have found, my experience with Allianz Assistance UK has been confusing and incredibly frustrating:- I have been given multiple different claim numbers, some of which have changed without warning or explanation.- Repeated requests for documents I already sent or have explained that I am unable to provide.- Documents emailed to Allianz but then supposedly not received/uploaded, requiring me to call to double check after each email I send.- Being sent 'letters' with conflicting information, within minutes of each other.- Talking to call handlers who are polite but clueless. I do not trust what they say after several misunderstandings about the status of my claim.A prime example today was when I was told that I should have been paid £3800 on the 5th April into my bank account, to only be informed minutes later that they were still working out 'calculations' for my claims and that I should hear from a more senior colleague in 3-5 working days... *sigh*The battle continues with this shambolic company! 2023 / 42486642023 / 4332236

Useless customer service agents

Raised a claim on their site, received irrelevant further information requests and delay with unhelpful customer service agents on the phone, who directed me to email ticketmaster and provided an email address that immediately bounced back as no longer in use. Allianz also eventually agreed to send me an email confirming what was needed so that I could pass this on to ticketmaster, which was arduous to get sorted, and they then didnt include anything that was discussed on the email that actually came through...Feels like I'm being bounced pillar to post for what should be a relatively straightforward claim.Terrible service.

Rip Off

Bought Ticket insurance for 5 People for BBC Earth Experience, very expensive, my Mother in law (95 years old) Did not attend as she had sickness and diarrhoea, they refused to reimburse her ticket.

Poor complaints procedure

I have a new BMW i4 M50. I had an issue concerning its charging. The circumstances around the call-out and the repair led to a formal complaint being submitted by myself. It is the complaint procedure that I am most disappointed with. I received an offer but refused it because it had not covered the points I had raised. At this point, I have been totally ignored by the case manager Tami! Despite me repeatedly ringing and asking for an update, they have refused to acknowledge my calls or emails. I have spoken to some friendly staff who have apologised for Tami's lack of contact, but all they have been able to do is forward my concerns directly to her and her manager. I am still waiting to hear something. Poor poor serviceA new advisor made contact and offered me a refund in order to finalise the issue. That was three weeks ago. still waiting. At least they are consistent.

This peace of trash just laying all the time 22/03/2023 they told me i will get paid full amount of claim i have ring today 23.03.2023 and payment rejected nothing there all of that agent answer the phone saying something different i have call 5-6 tíme a day each time different story i have Made already claim to financial ombudsman and also over the solicitor to the court will see there i have recorded all of the calls with this scammers
