Review Time
Logged a claim 4 months ago and every time I call for an update, I get told someone will contact me in "a couple of weeks". Haven't received a single update from them, the online portal just says someone is reviewing my claim. I called again today and asked if they can give me a rough timeline of when I can expect an update, and was literally told "No". Seems like a scam!! AVOID ALLIANZ IF POSSIBLE!!!
I purchased tickets for a concert via ticketmaster. Clearly stated in my email that my tickets are protected by Allianz assistant. 6 months later the event comes but I’m sick in hospital and my grandmother passed away I can not attend the concert I contact Allianz to request my refund for £195 and they advise they do not have my details on the system. Seems ticketmaster have not paid them for my insurance or instructed them that I purchased insurance. I am not happy what a waste of money I was miss-sold and I plan to seek legal advice the amount of money they must make from this scam!
I bought the missed ticket event insurance. I was unable to attend a concert as I had a cancer diagnosis. I made two phone calls both people sent me to the portal, the portal doesn’t work properly….one of the customer service staff told me they had issues. Tried emailing, however the email address on my policy was incorrect. I have now given up with my claim, which is what I think this company wanted. They make it so difficult to claim that you just give up. Please don’t buy this product you will be wasting your money.
100% rip off not worth the money, you will never get the money back. So many rules and you have to do so much for them and still will not be refunded. Absolute waste of money.*edit, I got an email looking for further information and I sent it on.*edit, in the email I received looking for further information I was also told if I don't send this in within 3 days my review will be taken down. I responded straight away with screenshots of everything, all of the proof and now 4 days have past and I've received nothing back. So obviously their 3 day policy threat doesn't work both ways........
I bought the missed event insurance promoted by ticketmaster. My wife was admitted to hospital so couldnt attend. I'm still mid claim with them but so far the experience has been appalling. We tried to claim before the event as she was hospitalised but they wouldnt deal with it until after the event, asked us to resell them on ticketmaster (they didn't sell). They don't answer the phone, they ask you to upload documents (the system wouldn't accept the documents). They ask you to get a cancellation invoice from ticketmaster to prove you didn't go to the event). The whole process i designed to wear you down and give up on your claim. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Please get travel insurance elsewhere. After taking 6 months to actually formally process my claim, they have decided that my fiance doesn't meet the criteria for a 'marriage-like' relationship so the family trip of a lifetime to take our kids to see santa that was cancelled due to illness last minute is now not eligible for payment. I don't have the words to describe not only how bad that judgement is but the time it has taken to actually speak with them about it.
I bought event insurance through ticket master. One event was cancelled another event I requested my premium back as it was within the cancellation time limit. I requested both premiums to be refunded. Unfortunately no one has got back to me with regards to the refunds. Very disappointed no confidence in this company.
Ticketmaster 'sell' this company cover for 'Missed Event Insurance' - no doubt raking in a commission.Worst company ever used. Wife had emergency operation for Acute Appendicitis - cancelled trip to London - no hasslle refunds with hotel, train, etc - but not Allianz!! - even went to trouble of selling the event tickets via Ebay/Ticketmaster ticket transfer. REDUCING the claim to a poultry amount of £65. Submitted documents twice! Their communication is appalling. On phone for ages. AVOID
