Review Time
I've never had a problem with the company and shipping has always been fast and on time. My only complaint is that if you leave something in your cart and don't check out, they will continue to spam your email until you check out or remove the item from your cart. This will happen within 12 hours of putting an item in your cart. It's one thing to let a customer know, say 2-3 days later, if there is something left in the cart, but contacting you every 12 hours for eternity is not good business and not how I appreciate being treated.
I have used All Star Health three times in the past and always had a positive experience - until today. I placed my order 9/5/18. It was sent to me via UPS Surepost 9/5/18. The UPS website said my order was to be delivered 9/11/18. When I went on the UPS website 9/10/18 I was alarmed because there was only an Origin scan on 9/5/18. I called Customer Service @ 800-875-0448 and spoke to a very nice agent who located my order & called UPS and then called me back. He was told by UPS that it was in transit and was assured the package would be delivered 9-11-18 despite the fact that all there was was an Origin Scan. The Customer Service Rep said if the package did not arrive on 9-11-18 to call back and All Star Health would make things right and I would either receive a credit or a replacement order would be sent out, whichever I preferred, to make things right. The order did not arrive on 9-11-18. I called All Star Health on 9-11-18 and this time I spoke to a different Rep, John. This one called UPS and was told by UPS that the package was indeed lost. John then told me that All Star Health's policy was to wait 7 business days from the last UPS scan to see if the order showed up - which will be 9-14-18 - even though UPS admitted that the shipment was lost. John said he couldn't do anything until 9-14-18. I asked John where on the All Star Health website was this policy. John said it was not on the website. How convenient. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told none were available. Even though John did not step away to check to see if one was available. Again, how convenient. All Star Health has lost a repeat customer who has now been soured by this whole experience.
I am super happy with my order from allstarhealth.com. I came online just to give them a good review! Costco stopped selling my favorite protein, and they had the best price online! I'm sometimes wary of ordering from companies online that I have never heard of before, but I made an exception because of the price. I received my order in less than two days, and also appreciated the shipping cost for such a heavy bag of protein! I will definitely order from them again.
This company is amazing. Bar none the best overall prices of anywhere for supplements. Unlike many, they don't have free shipping, but $5.95 (I'm in the US, don't know about other countries) flat rate is STILL worth it with their prices. Their in house brand, Bodystrong, is also very high quality at fantastic prices. I order from them about once every month and half (off and on for years now) and haven't had a bad experience yet. It feels like a smaller operation, but that keeps their overhead low and they definitely pass much of those savings on to customers. The low reviews I see are often for silly, over the top expectations (dealing with customs issues which have nothing to do with them), my personal experience, and the other people I've pointed towards this company, has always been top notch. BTW, I am not in any way associated with allstarhealth, I'm just a regular customer that is very satisfied.
I have always had excellent products, great prices (free shipping is new for my products! Though the price increased slightly) and always quick delivery. I live in the US and it seems most poor reviews deal with customs... Have and will continue to recommend to my friends!
This company lures you in with great prices and decent products but what you won't realize until it's too late is that they charge you for really crappy shipping that is totally unreliable, like OnTrack (they use contractor/vendors who will keep your product in their car for days at a time when it's 90 degrees outside). When you call to complain that you haven't received your product, you'll speak with a bunch of really chipper guys who you can tell have really big grins on their faces as they're speaking to you while you're frustrated as hell after having spent so much money and not received your product. They'll tell you it's out of their hands and when you speak to a supervisor, you'll soon realize that it's a company run by a total of 15 people who could not care less that you haven't received your product. They'll tell you that if you don't receive it, or if you decide you want to buy from another company, they will not refund you until they receive it back. So if OnTrack or whatever shipment company loses it or for any other reason doesn't get it back to the company, you're out of luck and AllStarHealth has just robbed you of your hard earned money. And they'll smile the whole while that they're doing it. Only in SoCal do you get met with this kind of brazen snobbery and smug smarminess.
I am honestly shocked at all the low scores on here. I have been a customer at Allstarhealth for about 8 years now and order roughly every 45 days. I have never received a late, lost or incorrect package. I order all types of supplements, including preworkouts, whey, vitamins, creatine, you name it. If a product is going to be on back order they always let me know and offer a refund or to ship when it arrives. They have flat rate shipping and I get my package in 3-5 days. On one order I selected an old address, contacted them later that day and they correct no problem. Another time I received a preworkout that seemed to have a bit of moisture in it (was clumpy), they shipped me a new one before I even sent back the old one. I don't work for this company or have any ties, I just like my supplements cheap and quick and that is why I go to them. Have been recommending for years, sorry to hear about your bad experiences, would give them another try.
Placed my order 3 weeks ago, still don’t have it. Called 1 week ago and was told UPS lost my order and a new one would be sent out. Called again today (a week later) since nothing had arrived. Rep informed me they never sent my replacement. They were also unwilling to expedite my order. I don’t recommend them for the simple fact they don’t keep their word and don’t appear to care about retaining loyal customers. AllStarhealth.com would get 0 stars from me if that was an option.
I ordered some dog tablets from this company as they were selling them quite reasonably priced. I cannot buy these from UK, only available in US. I have ordered the same tablets from a different company but was slightly more expensive but customs charges were covered by that company so assumed the same would occur with this company.Unfortunately, this was not the case and I then had a card from postal service advising of another £11.82 to pay on top of what I had already paid. I didnt think that was fair and contacted customer service of this company to ask if they would offer assistance with this cost and their response was, No, they wouldnt pay that cost and it was up to me to pay. Shocking customer service and I will never use this company again!!
