Review Time
I placed an order for $326, they first sent an email asking me for an amount they hold and refunded on my credit card as a security measure, I replied their email with the amount as I was instructed. Now today 04/15/2024 this people sent another email requesting this time a copy of my credit card, front and back, also my driver license and other documents and to sign a form. Maybe could have done what they were asking but a copy of my credit card, seriously? And they were worried about my security.
I placed an order with All Star Health. The order amount was $106, which was supposed to be free shipping. On the order summary page it stated shipping was $0. I was charged $22 shipping because my address included my street address and my post office box. They did not include any statement on the order summary that you will be charged for shipping if you include both street address and a PO BOX in your address. It is deceitful business to increase the total on an order summary page during the payment section. Although my street address was written in two places on their invoice, because I had a PO Box on my address they justified charging the shipping charges. Even though, the package is deliverable to my physical street address. When I contacted them to get it fixed, they were argumentative, unfriendly, and not willing to refund me. I will not be ordering from them again due to their rude customer service and tricky ways of doing business.
I came to trust pilot a few days ago to check out this company before ordering. Mixed reviews. I decided to take a change as they had the best price by far on what I needed to order. Wow! It arrived quicker than Amazon & almost half the price listed there. I felt it only fair to return & give them my review. Well packed, great price, speedy handling & ship time. Will order with them again!
I just submitted my first order with AllStarHealth.com and was extremely pleased! I purchased 3 jars of powdered shake mix, paid about $3.00 less for each jar than I normally pay AND I received free shipping.The expiration on the jars are good until 2026. I placed the order on Jan. 21, 2024, it was shipped Jan. 22, and I received it Jan. 24. The communication was excellent, the website is user friendly, the prices and great, and you save money!
I've been purchasing for a few years now (every month in fact).Their prices are very good and the selection is above average. Shipping is quick, but they often change methods, so delivery time can vary greatly.Unfortunately of late, they teamed up with the information shill/scam website "Bizrate" which they ask you to do a survey that is nothing more than a time consuming trick to get free information with no reward.As well, even if using a recognized device (PC/phone), they ask you to go through multiple layers of repeat questions to prove you are real just to login to your account rather better methods such as 2 step verification. This has gotten much worse of late and customer service seems to make excuses for this.So unfortunately I am going to try another place for my next order (Swanson was recommended by a friend). Hopefully these issues get fixed and I will try Allstar in the future, so I am leaving my account open.EDIT:In reply to AllStar Health, their rather canned response makes me even less likely to come back.First, Bizrate is a known scam site and the many reviews on the internet show this, so defending it leaves my mouth wide open with shock.Here is one such opinion from another person: "Promises something of value ($100),makes you work for it by answering questions, and then you find out your "reward" is 4 magazine subscriptions that are no way worth $100 (they have special rates all the time) and you have to pay $2.00 each to "process" and they are are self-renewing to boot. Scam. Should be illegal."As for clearing cache/cookies, I do this every time I go anywhere on the internet. Interestingly, I noticed today after another login, that Allstar Health changed to a single box Captcha, which I noticed elsewhere do not have the same issues. If Allstar does not want to use more modern 2 step verification or other methods, at least use this type of Captcha.In the end, I'd be willing to deal with these rude Captchas, but AllStar Health's association and defense of association with Bizrate make me question their trustworthynessEDIT #2:Gave AllstarHealth another chance. Never sent shipping confirmation, blammed me for email issues, which were clearly on their side. Shipping information was screwed up, including email and address they already had on file. Package is now lost and I have file a credit card charge back.Looking into this company, their CEO recently changed hands with a person now at the helm with very suspiciously hidden bio. Their terrible mismanagement reflects this. Sadly they used to be a very good company
