Sam Stevens and the Angara team have made the buying experience smooth and pleasant.They let me know regularly with what point my order was at and provided me with the confidence that my order would be delivered on time for my Wife's birthday.The emerald necklace I bought was lovely and I could really tell the difference between the heritage emerald stone I bought compared with a standard emerald (with no other choice) from another company. The emerald has a clear sparkle with a wonderful colour. Should I want more jewellery in future Angara will be my first port of call.
My husband ordered a sapphire bracelet for my birthday in April, 2025. It arrived and the clasp was broken. It took them days to reply to our email but we sent in back for repair. It was returned, but still not repaired correctly. We emailed again to request another repair. They denied it at first, then said we could send it back in but this would be last time under warranty? We sent it back and it was returned supposedly repaired. Still not clasping correctly we took to a local jeweler who said it was not repaired. Overall, I would not recommend buying anything from them based on how they handled our situation. Within a few months it broke between the links. Back to our local jeweler who has now repaired the bracelet so I can wear it with confidence that it will not fall off. Tried your product once, but never again and will share our experience with others.
I purchased a 14K white gold chain from Angara about 5 months ago for my birthday. I’ve only worn it 3–4 times, each for just 2–3 hours, yet it has already turned noticeably dark. It now looks more like sterling silver than 14K white gold.I compared it with my other 10K and 14K white gold chains from other brands—including different chain styles—and the difference is clear. None of my other white gold pieces have ever tarnished like this.When I contacted Angara, they claimed the darkness/discoloration was due to “different chain styles,” but that explanation doesn’t hold up. After that, they stopped responding entirely.I can’t get past how disappointing this experience has been. I’m now planning to replace the chain with a 10K white gold one from Kay or Zales. I’ve owned several white gold pieces from those stores and never had any issues.I also purchased a pearl necklace from Angara for my niece’s birthday a couple of months ago—fingers crossed that chain holds up better. But I won’t be purchasing from this site again.I don’t know if this review will go through or not—some sites seem to block honest reviews—but I hope it helps future customers.—Sharon
