I had a very expensive item sent from abroad to my house in Ireland, and when I checked website with tracking number it said it was delivered at 930 am this morning. And as I was standing in my house I knew damm well it wasn't here, I them checked all my neighbors: no parcel anywhere. And then phoned and spoke to a nice girl who told me it was dropped off as a local coffee shop!!! This was outrageous as I did not give permission for the parcel to be dropped anywhere other than my house due to its high value. I'm the worst thing of all about the whole situation the driver not only dropped it to a random shop in the town without permission, No phone call from driver!!! But he didn't even bother his ass to put a note through my letterbox telling me where it was. I will never use GLS And I told the people who sent me the item and they were no longer use GLS the worst courier company I've ever had the misfortune to come across.I only use and recommend DPD . And within Ireland you won't find better than Roaddog couriers they are The example to all!
Parcel handed to gls and updated by gls. Tracking not updated since it was handed over. No updates for 5 days. Company has advised I need to wait a few more days for the items to be declared "missing". Company I bought from won't refund shipping. Item I purchased was an add on for a quad lock set up which I didn't realise I needed until my first quad lock order arrived! Cannot attach my phone without the item that's missing in the hands of GLS. Have been told I will need to order the item again. Pay full price and not the black Friday sale price I had originally got!!! And I need to pay for shipping again!!!!! DO NOT USE GLS! I WILL BOYCOTT ANY COMPANY WHO USES YOU.
We used to think that HP stood for quality. So for our business, over a timespan of 3 years, we bought 11 HP laptops. 1 of them the hinges broke within 2 years. Okay can happen, now we have a laptop where the charging over the USB-C broke within 5 months. So lets try HP Support. This has been the most Kafkaesk experience for a long time. Hours listening to waiting music on the phone, being redirected multiple times, a ticketing system that does not properly record their own assessments, so every time you have to start from scratch, contradicting results, and no way to escalate your experience. We should have known, after buying two 'identical' HP monitors for a single workstation we noted that they had different color displays, so we switched to Liyama monitors, less expensive and better quality. After our HP printers were consuming toners at crazy speed, we switched to Brother Printers and substantially brought down our printing costs. The HP docking stations could not meet the specs of the DELL docking stations. But we bought one anyway, okay that ended up in a box somewhere at our office. All our workstations are now equipped with DELL docking stations, yes they are more expensive but it is worth it.And now the laptops, just bought 2 Lenovos, better specs for less money. So let's hope we don't have to deal with Lenovo tech support, but one thing for sure it can't be worse than HP.You don't have to take my word on this, just google "hp netherlands reviews" and you will see that we were kind enough providing a 2 star review.Looking at this from our perspective, I would say HP is a company in decline.
