I ordered a tv for delivery and it did not arrive. When I contacted the support people they told me it had been marked as delivered even though it did not arrive. I was told it would take 48 hours for a case to be opened then 7 working days for an investigation to conclude. After this I just asked for a refund so I could go buy and collect a new tv myself.
ordered an item online and collected today, once home went to check the item and the security seals have been sliced through and contents inside wrapped in tissue paper and not plastic wrapping like normal, even the instruction booklet was in an envelope and not how things are normally packaged. I have tried to speak ton someone which is an impossible task, so just to make people aware ARGOS are selling used items as new and making it as difficult as possible for any issues to be resolved
Extremely poor service and it takes ages to get to a person on the call. Even after that the service person is unable to provide any help.I made an order of 70 pounds and paid half by credit card and the other half by Argos gift card. When an item worth 20 pounds was returned, the refund was given on the gift card and not on my credit card. When I enquired, they simply say that its their policy. This is absolute malpractice to make the customer churn out more and more money and tie the customer with gift card and block cash.
