Shocking!!

Shocking!!! I received my £140 light, looks ok, but feels huge in the room. Decided to return it, when contacted them they “Sofia” give me a return address in China which costs £90 min to return it! Is this a joke!!! They company legally offer return but they know customers are not paying so much to return it, in fact they are offering no return. I feel internet is full of drop shipping sites, all look and feel European sites but everything coming from China. I am reporting this to Trading standards, someone need to do coming, this was my third disasters with products sent from China this month and they all took ages to come! I am going to try to shop from reputable stores in UK from now on.

Fake company from China, not Amsterdam

Do not buy from this company. They claim to be made in Amsterdam, but it is all shipped from China and without the parts needed to even put the products together. This is not a real company, and their customer support is from a different name than the company itself. When looking up the customer support company name (misterlamp), it appears to be connected to a few other fake companies claiming to be European. I will try to get a full refund, but from the reviews I am reading, it looks like they will require me to pay a large sum of money to ship it to China for a return. I will be reporting them.

DO NOT USE- PLEASE REPORT TO TRADING STANDARDS

This is a scam company. Their websites (there are many that look similar, aimed at different geographical locations) use photos of high-end lighting lifted from legitimate sellers' websites. What you receive is not in any way what is advertised, and is cheap and poorly made. It does even look the same. When approached for a refund, they will offer a discount. If you refuse, they will tell you that their T's & C's state that you must send the products back, at your own expense, to China so they can "assess" if you are eligible for a refund. Their UK address does not exist. I am reporting to Trading Standards and the manufacturer of the lighting that they are ripping off. I would urge you all to do the same, so that we can protect other people from falling for these criminals.EDIT: I HAVE NOTICED ALL THE NEW REVIEWS POPPING UP WITH 5 STARS, ALONGSIDE THE ONES EXPLAINING HOW THIS COMPANY OPERATES AS A SCAM. DOESN'T TAKE MUCH IMAGINATION TO GUESS WHY THEY ALL STARTED FLOODING IN...

SCAM FROM CHINA. AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND REPORT THEM

This company is a complete scam from China. They have other fake companies like Misterlamp that pretend to be based in Europe selling designer lamps and lighting. Their website says it's Arturelights Amsterdam, but their contact address is a fake address in England, and all their lamps come from China. Their lamps are very cheap copies at best and unsafe to use due to how bad the quality is. The customer service email replies come from "Sofia! from a Misterlamp email address, so you know then it's a scam. The home page of their website states, "30 day money back guarantee", but that's a total lie. I ordered and immediately figured out it was a scam when I saw the confirmation email came from a different email address. After some research, I realized Arturelights and Misterlamp are scam companies from the same con artists from China. I demanded they cancel my order and issue a refund. "Sofia" refused and said they couldn't do that and soon my lamp would be shipped. My lamp didn't ship from China until a few days later and it took nearly a month to arrive. I haven't opened the box, because their refund policy says all boxes must be unopened to issue a refund. I have requested a shipping address various times to issue the refund, and "Sofia" has ghosted me and is no longer answering my emails. How convenient for them. I had to dispute this transaction with my bank and provide evidence of this scam from screenshots of their websites, fake address, Trustpilot reviews, refund policy on their website, and emails, and they have agreed to refund my money, but I'm sure these scammers will try to somehow reclaim the money back because they are professional con artists. The worst thing is I saw this company from a professional-looking Instagram ad, and their website(s) look professional until you start doing further investigation into their fake address and customer service emails and start reading Trustpilot reviews that all share the same story. Don't fall prey to them and please report them. Always research companies online before buying from them. These guys are some of the worst out there.

Never buy from this company

Never buy from this company. All the reviews below are correct. When you do get the lights the parcel in broken open by customs, it’s the wrong product with everything labelled in Chinese. The most shocking is the product and the cables - never install the lights in your house as the material is not to UK standard. I’ll write off my £160 I spent and throw the lights in the skip.

Avoid avoid avoid!!

Avoid avoid avoid!!! Stay away from this scammers. They do false advertisement. They send you lamps they don't look like on the photos and once they get caught they don't reply or offer a solution. This is illegal!!!! I will be taking this case further in order to get my money back.
