DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY. ITS CHEAP GOODS FROM CHINA NOT UK OR EUROPEWe ordered a lamp for £250, thinking the company was based in Amsterdam. The picture looked really nice, you could dim the light and would look great. We ordered natural wood finish. A few minutes after my wife ordered i saw tge reviews and could see a potential scam. I got in contact straight away and asked for refund before shipping the item. I was told the ordering process was automatic and thus could not be done. So about 3 weeks later the lamp arrives.The legs were not a natural finish but dark walnut, this was chipped in various places and other chips covered in black marker pen. The legs and unit where bulb sits is not straight and tge shade does not fit properly. We asked for a warm light colour and have been given a bright white light which only has on off and doesn't dim.It looks cheap and im sure can be bought for a fraction of the price. Even though the website says returns cost 9 euro, we have been given an address in China to return and shipping costs would be uneconomical. I doubt we would get a refund as they wouldn't do it before the item shipped. On investigation there are no records of anyone getting a full refund and they also ran a previous light company that shut down.We've learnt a lesson, check Trust pilot before buying.
I installed their lights today and am greatly disappointed with the light they provide. The advertisement states that the lamp emitslight both upwards and downwards when in reality, it only casts a very limited and meagre light upwards. How is this the same lamp from the website? Completely misleading. Steer clear!
Really slow delivery over 3 weeks. The lights are not from Amsterdam as the website leads you to believe. They are shipped from China. The lights are really poor quality, flimsy and in a million pieces. Would send back but the cost of sending back to China would be more than the lights cost. Very misleading company. Avoid!
Avoid this company at all costs!I purchased a ceiling light several months ago, and when it was professionally installed by a qualified electrician, it exploded and emitted smoke. When I contacted the company requesting a full refund, I was offered only 15% back and told I could keep the faulty, unsafe product.The only way to receive a full refund was to return the item to a warehouse in China—at my own expense and using tracked shipping, since the company provides no reliable return method. After months of effort, the package was sent back to me due to incorrect return details provided by the company. Despite this, they continue to refuse a refund.This has been an appalling experience from start to finish. I strongly advise others not to purchase from this company.
SCAM COMPANY. If I could give minus stars I would. After emailing the company directly prior to placing my order to find out whether the lights I wanted to order were fully safe to fit in the UK, I was assured that the item was double insulated. On receipt, I found they were not and my electrician refused to fit them due to fire safety concerns. Although Arture agreed to refund said faulty items, they absolutely point blank refuse to cover the return costs (“It’s policy”). So I am now faced with huge out of pocket expenses to return to china substandard goods I was assured were safe when they are not. DO NOT ORDER. I quoited the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and they tell me it’s does not cover them because they are Hong Kong based, despite a UK registered address. I have now involved the UKCCI but Arture completely unwilling to budge. Absolutely disgusting.
