Review Time
Before I bought the light I checked website re returns. It stated returns were possible at buyers expense and usually cost around 9 euros. Under the company name it says Amsterdam. And again, on checking the website there is a London address listed. From this information I took the company to be either Europe or UK based.Instead of taking the stated 10 days to arrive, it took over 3 weeks to get to me. I tried to cancel the light after around 2 weeks as I’d had to buy a different light to be fitted by my builders before they left site. I was unable to cancel so when the light arrived I didn’t even open it just contacted Atture to return it. Prior to ordering their customer service had been great - fast replies to all my questions. Now I was trying to return the service was very slow and not very helpful. Eventually I was given a return address in China!!! Obviously the costs involved were prohibitively expensive so I was unable to return or get a refund. I then looked on here (Trustpilot) and found others had had a similar experience - just wish I’d checked before ordering.
Sent wrong light fitting and then won't refund unless l send it to China at my expense. Company fraudulently claims to be in Amsterdam. Doubt I'll get any refund at all.Avoid this company at all costs. Lampshade they sent is dreadful quality and not worth the money.Reply to their response. There was no option but to accept the 25% l sent many emails and got the same robot response every time. Let's make this clear ...the error was theirs, they sent the wrong lampshade and then expected me to pay more for it than it was on their website. While l accept that if l had merely wanted to send back an item l had changed my mind on would be at my expense l should not have to be out of pocket for their incompetence. Deception to claim they are from Holland when they clearly are not.
Outrageous! Never again!Ordered two lamps. One of them had a defective contact. The result was, that my relay broke not once, but twice. The switch didn´t work anymore, while the one functioning lamp was ON constantly. The bill for the electrician was almost 500€. Arture lights didnt believe me at first, so I had to send around twenty emails, make videos for proof and so on.. Eventually they gave in, and send me spare parts for the broken lamp, but still refuse to pay any compensation. No money for the electrician, no refund for the lamps.. Nothing.
I wish I had read the reviews. Do not buy from here. The product is nothing like its images; it doesn't work, flickers, and we have been told it's dangerous. We missed the 30-day return policy as it was boxed up until the build work was complete to install. I've emailed them and refusing a refund and offering me to buy another light at the same cost but 25% off, what a joke!!
Be aware UK buyers‐ this outfit is NOT based in UK even though they say (lie) they are so if something goes wrong returning for refund will be to China at your own expense and good luck getting that refund as PayPal useless (they were in our case). On top of all what's presented on their photos in reality is different it's typical chinese cheap knock offs sold at premium. Hopefully someone one day can shut down these type of websites.
Avoid like plague. They resell cheap items from aliexpress and you cannot return them. They make you return in China even if they don’t mention this on their website. Ordered 2 lamps that came in 1 month and when wanting to return they made me return in China and the total shipping cost aprox 70 euro per box, and I had 2 boxes.
Fraudulent company! Sends wrong and dangerous product (made for the US, not Europa) and refuses to solve the issue. First sends me an usb charger and tries to suggest that is an solution. Then goes on and repeatedly suggests that I should buy a voltage converter at my cost to solve that they sent the wrong product! Also repeatedly suggests that I should pay full price for the defective product they sent since it is posible is might work with two different adaptors (one that I have to buy myself). Also wants me to return the wrong product they have sent to China (despite claiming to be a company from the Netherlands) at my cost. Refuses to refund me despite a money back garantee. Avoid them at al costs!
Be careful. Chinese cheaters. Very low quality, you will not get your money back in case of returnEdit: after replay from the company: no words. I paid for a return package (it cost quite much to china) - my parcel is in China but they don’t want to collect it. No lamp, no money for the lamp. Money for the parcel to china paid. And they sent me beautiful emails, no words. Could it be worse?
