Review Time
I’ve bought loads from Asket this year and although the deliver/returns have been slow, I have found the quality and fit of most of their items to be great. However after purchasing a £120 shirt only to find the stitching on the armpit to come loose on its first outing (in a customer meeting) I was offered a £20 refund to go and get the hole fixed myself. I was bamboozled by their response as they admitted in the email it was due to “manufacturing error”. I have never experienced a worse response to a faulty item and will not be buying from them again.
I've bought a fair bit of stuff from here over the past few years. The quality of clothing is excellent, and being tall it's great to find somewhere that does a tall fit.Unfortunately the returns are woeful, hence the 3/5. Returns are consistently painfully slow, and need chasing every single time. You can return something to a competitor the same day as Asket and have your money back within a couple of days but with Asket days/weeks will pass by without hearing a word from them unless you email customer service and chase them. You always get your money back in the end but they're nowhere near competing with other online retailers in this respect.I also find it surprising that for a business who prides itself on sustainability you need to print your own return label rather than being sent a QR code....again this is way behind the competition.Surprising that an online only brand would be so slack in these departments, when high street stores who have moved to online are wiping the floor with them.
Bacon neck on all female T-shirts and long sleeves after one wash. They have a nice finish for men T-shirts that does not crumple up but not on female. WHY? Black t-shirt is not even true black but leans more into navy color. Feeling stupid for buying into it.
I bought a pair of white T-shirts, one lightweight and one heavier (their standard tee). I have worn each maybe three or four times, washing each twice in a modern Bosch washing machine at 40C.The T-shirts are both well sized and comfortable (especially the thicker one). But both are already showing little threads loosening at the shoulder (where the front and back panels meet the arm). I’d accept this from a Primark £10 shirt but it’s a bit galling to see it on a £60 T-shirt where all the marketing is about their quality.I like the shirts but there are lots of other “simple staple” makers out there. I will probably try someone else next.
I had an Issue with one of the garments I ordered because I it had a hole. However I noticed this only a few days after wearing it once. After reaching out to asket they offered me many ways how I want to handle the defect. Get a discount and go to a tailor, get a replacement or send it back.Never had quality issues before because the quality asket offers is amazing!!!
I bought a cashmere sweater last autumn. I treated it with highest care and did not wash it. Nonetheless a hole appeared and I contacted the costumer service to get a repair or a replacement. They refused and offered a 20€ store credit… Bad quality combined with bad costumer service. I can only strongly advice not to buy there!
