Review Time
Got me banned from Spotify. The software was useful, but super slow, but I was willing to put up with it because I got it for free. But then a few weeks later I couldn't log into my Spotify account anymore. I contacted Spotify support and they said my account was banned for music recording apps, and confirmed it was Audials One.
I have supported this product for over 5 years and each year find more and more bugs. Tried recording from a live course feed - very finicky and unpredictable. Typically 10-15 failed attempts to record specific screen are with Detect & Record. Tech support after lame responses ended up "we are reporting this bug". The only good thing that comes out of this total fail - I found NCH Software - Debut. Easy to use and reliable. Also cheaper than Audials. I was generous giving Audials a One star rating.
I have had this crap for 1 year now and still not been able to record any movies. It just dont start. It just says starting and than stays still and spinn. If it starts, the movie has already been playing for 5 min. I have talked to support, but they just come with some do this and do that. Have you tried this....! I have tried everything!!!!! Now they believe I will buy the 2023 version.... Hahahaha!
There was a Time Audials was useful... now its just a joke. I allowed myself to be conned into buying the 2022 update as it claimed "Audials works like a web browser and enables you to search for movies and series from any video streaming service and then play them back immediately, allowing you to watch the video while it’s being recorded. Select “Record from beginning ” to save the entire movie. You can also record the video in the background which lets you continue to use other functions while it's being recorded. This works for any video streaming website! Simply choose a video and save it." What a joke... all I get is a spinning wheel which evential changes to Video stream detected and then nothing... it just sits like this forever...when i stopped the recording it eventually put up a pop up box saying "could not process URL. please find related video streaming service....." and points you to the same list of streaming services which didn't work in audials 2020... making their whole "This works for any video streaming website!" claim false...
I purchased Audials movie 2022 later realized that it was supporting Netflix and Amazon ONLY for US. What a waste of money. Do these people think, they do not care for other customers around the globe???Please DO NOT purchase this software. Please!!
