Review Time
I bought the latest and greatest version of Audials a few weeks ago, planning to use it to properly manage my music collection and add tracks I'm missing with the record function. The latter works very well, especially with Amazon Music Unlimited, but the former is an utter nightmare. I don't consider myself stupid, I have an IQ of 139, but am completely baffled by Audials Playlist and file management structure. It is massively complex, totally unintuitive, and generally über frustrating. I'm now using Audials for recording and Musicbee for managing/playing, which works, but it's a bit of a fudge.
Hi Everyone, Got Audials 2025 SE from PCPro (advertised as a Full Program worth £30) on installation an upgrade splash screen appears wanting a further payment for an upgrade bit naughty (if it's free, "it's free") also, there is nowhere in the mag that explains how to use the program (which I found extremlely difficult) nor does it warn about this extra charge. I tried and better tried to work out how to record some music & then gave it up, as a bad job! Very little information on-line as well. Sorry Guys, Uninstalled!
I have been a longtime user of Audials One at least since 2019. I currently use Audials One 2025. The previous version seems to catch the commercials and edit them out automatically better than this current version. The editing app within the program also need a little tweaking for both music and video. There was an issue I had recently (02/23/2025) That was quickly resolved. Also back in November of 2022 I had another issue that was resolved in less than a day. Other than what I've just mentioned this is one of the greatest programs that I've used to record movies and music. Because of those issues I wanted to give Audials One four stars but it really deserves five stars.
I got it via PCpro mag as free app download, my advice is if you have Windows11 laptop like me, just don't bother as it just shuts down every time I try to play any music stored on my PC. Even trying to add an album to playlist confuses the app so much, it just throttles itself and shutdown !!!Oh yes, every time you start the app you get a full screen offer to flog you their paid version.
