Had a great learning experience with Avado, I took the level 5 qualification in people management and my tutor Mark Beacham was very knowledgeable and was always able to explain things in various different ways to make sure all understood what was needed. Very good communication from Mark the whole way through. The platform itself could do with some bug fixes such as when you complete tasks in the weeks learning they do not always show as completed. Overall great experience, I will defiantly be back to take another course and would cross my fingers to get Mark as a tutor again.
My experience pursuing the CIPD Level 5 in People Management through AVADO was highly positive, offering me practical insights into applying principles, methods, and theories effectively in the workplace. I strongly recommend this program to my colleagues. I would also like to commend my tutor, Mark, for his outstanding support throughout my learning journey.

I started the Level 5 L&D apprenticeship in 2021 and completed all my CIPD assignments. During this time I had not signed up for the CIPD as I didn't realise how IMPORTANT it was to sign up for the membership in time, I thought I could do it once I came back before I finished my apprenticeship. I went on maternity leave in September 2022 for a year and just before I came back Avado stopped providing apprenticeships and asked me to sign up with CIPD or else I was going to lose my qualification. As I was not checking my emails daily whilst on maternity leave (understandably) I missed out on this deadline by 2 weeks. When I came back and tried to reason with Avado on this unique case they showed no flexibility and simply said there was nothing else they could do for me. This is really disappointing because I have lost out on that years worth of work, as new providers don't offer the CIPD certificate anymore. All they need to do was to send my results to CIPD but they refused. I can see from other reviews that they are still inflexible and I can share that their responses were less than helpful. Very very disappointing as they obviously were paid for their services for that year and when it comes to providing the certificate they are refusing to support.
I recently completed Avado's data analysis bootcamp, and I must say it was an incredibly fulfilling experience. - You learn by yourself and barely get any support. The slides and recording don't provide much information either.- The grading grids are not helpful as you can still fail even after meeting what's outlined in the criteria.- The UI of the avado platform is terrible as you have to look through multiple avenues to find the necessary resources for your assignment.- Would be good to have an in person option so you can collaborate with classmates and bounce ideas off eachother as you can feel alone at times.The only positive thing is your work gets marked within a week.
Had to stop payments to Avado due to financial difficulties, reached out for help several times only to be totally ignored. I have sent numerous emails, made web enquiries and have been ignored each time. Happy to take your money but no support when you are unable to pay. Absolutely would not reccomend and I will be taking this further.
Customer service from Troy's side has been amazing today. Although I was ready to write a relatively negative feedback for Avado overall due to low engagement with my support needs, Troy has managed to turn that around in a 30 minutes call where he took the time to explain everything that I needed to be clarified, implications of my request, ways to make it happen, advantages and disadvantages of my request etc. He has helped me make an informed decision with kindness, understanding and professionalism, after two weeks of emails, calls and tickets. Thank you very much, hope Troy gets the recognition he deserves in his role.
