Highly recommend Avado Learning for CIPD Level 5.I'm a quarter of the way through and the support has been great. The tutors are very helpful, especially Mark, his tutor sessions are very interactive and informative. I looked at many providers before choosing Avado and I'm glad I did!
Terrible company and service. I previously did a level 3 CIPD through them and had issues with getting my pass certificate; they said I failed, then after 9 months of me asking the reason, I received a pass certificate from the CIPD (I was surprised as no one told me this was going to happen!). I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to give them another chance. I’m now doing a ‘self-paced’ level 5 course, that was sold to me as a way to deal with how intense the course is on top of working, but I’ve now been told that I have a deadline of July, which means I’m around 4 months behind and I will need to pay £400 to transfer onto a new course if I don’t make it (which is extremely unlikely at this point). On top of this, my employer have been paying for my course, yet every month without fail, they charge both my employer and my bank account (no idea how they have my details), and despite opening a complaint about this (due to the size of the instalment being taken from me) in December, it is still happening and I’ve had next to no communication about the progress. I definitely wouldn’t recommend using this company.
The client advisor failed to provide accurate guidance. Despite completing my master's degree and being eligible for level 7 membership due to my academic performance, I was signed up for level 5 instead. Upon inquiring about canceling my studies, I was informed by the company that it was not possible as the 14-day cancellation period had lapsed. Consequently, I'm obligated to continue making payments even if I choose not to pursue the studies. The only option provided by the company is to transfer my plan to another student to avoid losing my investment. BE CAREFUL , if you already have degree or master degree on the field !.
Despite a good few organisational changes, the tutor team at avado supported me all the way through my learning journey for my level 5 CIPD associate diploma in People Management. My tutors, Lyndsay and Britt were absolutely brilliant, and having done my level 3 with Avado too, I would absolutely consider them for my level 7.
The assignments' word requirement is INADEQUATE AND IMPOSSIBLE to write in each subtitle in relation to how MANY things they ask you to write in each part. That is why they happily fail you and then ask you to pay 250£ to retake the assignments and give you ONLY 2 weeks for assignment that takes 2 months to write. Please everyone who have similar experience complain to CIPD because they are accrediting Avado learning.
They cancelled my apprenticeship half way through the course, I then asked if I could complete my qualification as a professional qualification instead. It took months for them to confirm that I could. In January when they finally confirmed the costs, I asked if I could start the course in February which they confirmed would be ok as long as they received the payment. The invoice was paid by my workplace on 9th February, however they never contacted me again, never replied to any of my emails asking if I could start. When I finally got in touch with them they advised they hadn't received any payment (although the invoice has been paid). I am now stuck as they will not give me a refund as they are saying it hasn't been paid but it has. I can't go elsewhere until I am refunded.Do not complete your CIPD qualification with them if you don't want your time wasting!
Mark B is amazing. He explains everything so well and is kind very helpful and patient. Great qualities especially when dealing with such a huge number of students. His knowledge and sharing of knowledge with everyone is what a tutor should have and be. Can listen to him for hours. Would love Mark to do the remaining sessions/ modules without anyone else. I have only picked up Mark's recordings to listen from the previous cohorts from the recording library. His consistency can be seen across all these cohort recording modules.
