I started a new business called Florida Owner-Builder Consulting Group forbcg.com and was planning on building a website on my own as I have done for previous businesses I've owned. It normally would take two to three weeks to get done and I honestly did not feel like spending the time writing copy, looking for images, adding forms, etc, etc. So, I decided to search for an AI driven website creation company and came across B12.io. I entered my business name and what the business was about and hit enter. Two minutes later I had a full website with nearly perfect copy, awesome pictures and just about everything I wanted in a website. After spending about two hours tweaking a few things I had a perfect website and extra 80 hours to do the things I like doing as well as a bunch of money in my pocket because I didn't have to hire a professional web designer. This is what I call a win win win and B12.io delivered that win.
I want to warn everyone about my experience with B12.io and their partner IONOS.com.There is an active offer for new customers on their website — any subscription for $1 for three months. I trusted this offer and decided to subscribe plan costing $78, which will be billed automatically after three months. One of the options of this offer is a free domain for 1 year and from this moment my adventures started. When i tried to use this benefit I was redirected to their partner IONOS, where it turned out that not all domains are actually free. The domains I needed (dialab.center and dialab.clinic) have the price 12 and 53 dollars! At the same time, the system offered me other domains "for $0," but they didn't suit me — they had hyphens or were in other zones. B12 support replied that “since they use a partner, not all domains are available for free,” and referred me to their “knowledge base" where this information is located but never mentioned in the promotion terms.Later I decided to go with one of the so-called free domains, another issue came up. Even though the cost was $0, the system attempted to authorize an amount equal to the renewal price of the domain for the next year (in my case, $25). If you don’t have this amount on your card, the process fails. Once again support pointed me to the knowledge base.I consider this as a scam because of the two huge customer misunderstanding attempts:- They collect your card details and immediately charge non-refundable money;- Then they push you to use their partner’s services under unfavorable conditions;All the important details of their offers and promotions are hidden deep in the knowledge base instead of being stated in the promotion.I have kept all the screenshots and support chat history, which confirm every detail of my experience. I can provide them if necessary.
I am quite computer illiterate and had some trouble with my website. B12 was quick and precise in helping me. Thank you so much. My website hasn't recieved any customers though. Perhaps you could give me advice on how to advertise it so people see it.
A number of years ago when my older website creator was no longer supported, I panicked and dreaded having to work with a new platform. Didn't need to worry as I joined B-12.
