Appalling customer service? 2 properties were placed with bairstow eves...after only 4 weeks because they failed to advise us properly both properties were taken off sale...its was only after 3 weeks that another agent enquired if we had sold them and told us they were no longer advertised? They also told us the agents woukd have been notified several times begore they were taken off the websites but they failed to do anything in fact denied they had rcvd these communications..so in fact they did nothing with either properties for nearly 4 weeks by the time they got back to me!! Then after a supposed viewing at one house they left it unlocked with front door ajar...a serious security risk..oops Then after I discussed a reduction on one house they reduced the wrong house by 45k ?? No one questioned this?? no red flags?? and no one wondered why there were loads of enquiries??? As if anyone reduces a low priced property by 45k??? Maybe 5k or even 10k I confirmed the property prices again and they were amended but also asked for confirmation on viewings that were based on correct prices...Needless to say...someone called me to check if I was at the house for an 11.15am viewing AT 11.07AM!!!!! no I replied I'm not and pointed out the timings She then said...Well I was called at 10am and asked to call you...so she obviously didn't think it was important so left it until 7 minutes begore the viewing!!! It only gets worse and worse...she was then shocked we could not make it And was quite offhand as if if this was actually my fault and NOT their complete incompetence. Since then they are ignoring emails and letter and can only assume they hope I go away
I would like to write a review for Bairstow Eves letting. I have nothing but praise for the team Jason, Jessica, Clairessa, and particularly Freddie. As a new landlord they were excellent and attentive to all my requirements, they helped me through the process of letting a property for me. A five star review is easy to give.
I have received excellent service from the Bairstow Eves lettings team (Nottingham) over a period of many years. Finding fantastic tennants and providing invaluable advice to me as a landlord on the current local rental market.Nadines local knowledge is excellent and communication is always easy, pleasant and helpful.I've appreciate that someone at Bairstow Eves always answers the phone and helps out, which is definitely not the case with other local letting agencies.
Had a pleasant and warm experience with the Bairstowes team in Nottingham central recently. Keiran Shaw was fantastic in ensuring a smooth end in our previous property and was on top of things in helping us secure our new home. His prompt updates especially regarding uncontrollable delays, his patience in answering all our questions, industry knowledge, and professionalism were quite commendable. Disappointing Experience with Unprofessional ServiceI recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Sam at Bairstow Eves, and I must say it was far from pleasant. From the outset, I found her to be quite rude and dismissive. Despite my efforts to remain polite and respectful, she seemed to take offense when I asked clarifying questions about the services offered.It was clear that Sam lacked the training and experience necessary to handle client inquiries effectively. Each time I challenged her responses, she became defensive rather than engaging in a constructive conversation. It’s disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism, especially in an industry where good communication and customer service are essential.It's a shame, as I believe there are many individuals who would excel in this role and provide the level of service that clients deserve. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a potential client.I hope the agency takes this feedback seriously and invests in the proper training for their staff to ensure a better experience for future clients

I had an awful experience with this company. Their service is appalling—high staff turnover, no returned calls or emails, constant chasing for payments, and endless delays for repairs. I signed a one-year fully managed contract with insurance and zero deposits, yet payments were late for the first three months, and communication was virtually nonexistent.My tenant left a month early in August 2024, and despite repeatedly chasing the insurance (Zero Deposits) for the owed rent and damages, I was only informed today—five months later—that the adjudication resulted in just £50. No explanation was provided, despite my submission of invoices for rent arrears, breakages, and deep cleaning.If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this company at all costs—they are an absolute disgrace.
