Horrible attitude! Please be weary that they will bluff about another offer on the table just to pressure you to get a higher price. Their listing was lowered to a level the seller wouldn't even accept so be sure not to waste your time and get caught in a web of lies.
Cant thank the team enough at the Mansfield Branch, they worked well on the sale of our property and had great communication throughout. There were difficult times but the team kept pushing for that sale. Absolutely recommend and would 100% use again.
I've been tryingn to purchase a mortgage with this company the reservation ran out before the purchase was complete wasting my time and money this happened because bairstow is not interested in filling there part on e they vot thre mone I've been ignored and pushed aside countless times buy this firm was told they will call me back at least a dozen times with no call back there email response are normal shurg offs all I've needed from them was the lender form so the solicitor and sale rep can do there job took 6 weeks of waiting g and chasing there mortgage department to fail miserable because after they git paid for there part in the sales and purchases they don't care anymore and you git pushed to the back burner this has lost me £1000s of pounds in fees to solicitors and reservation in the property all because there not interested after you paid there fee I'm a first time buyer and completely deverstated buy this company.
I previously worked for this company as a lettings manager and was shocked to receive a letter stating I owe them over £1,000 after leaving the job over a year ago. This is completely unacceptable and feels ridiculous. I've never encountered a company that expects former employees to pay money after their tenure, especially not after so long. I think they forget how much I know about how they operate as a business, like how they charge tenants when leaving a property for things they didn’t actually do (only getting quotes then demanding money for works that have not been completed), plus a ton of hidden fees for landlords that aren’t even mentioned in the terms of business. What an absolute joke of a company. I would advise potential employees to be cautious and ensure they fully understand any financial obligations before accepting a position here. I would also advise landlords to stay away if they don’t want a company to rob them for their money!!!
I just came back from a viewing with the estate agent Wesley Brown, a Branch Manager from Bairstow Eves Collier Row. The experience was distressing and utterly appalling.As soon as we arrived at 3:23pm, for a 3:20pm viewing, before we could even apologise for the short delay, we were rudely told that the agent was going to leave, and he had called us many times, and he barked at us that he had been calling and emailing all day long. We were thrown off by his attitude, and had two children with us, but he proceeded rudely “you should learn to answer your calls”. We were completely on the backfoot, but calmly told him we had called the office back immediately, the only number we have access to, and he snapped back rudely that “Well, I’m here aren’t I. Not there.”We tried to move on, and he continued to make incredibly condescending comments to me, like when I asked him if we should start looking around or should we wait for him, he retorted “I’m waiting for your kids to come in first.” At that point, my wife just calmly asked him whether there was an issue, and repeated that we had called to confirm, and we were sorry for being 5 minutes late. To which, he clearly didn’t believe us, and aggressively started came upto wife and started snapping at her for proof saying “What time? What time was the calls? Check your phone? It should be on your phone if you called. Check it now.” It was the most humiliating experience we have had, being made to feel like liars, and my wife was on the verge of tears. He felt mentally unstable, and was behaving this way in front of our two children under 5 years old, and our elderly grandmother.Honestly, based solely on Wesley, we would never consider buying the property, and this has completely tarnished our relationship with Bairstow Eves. We pray no one ever has to deal with this kind of humiliation, rude conduct and borderline aggressive behaviour.
