Excellent products that are difficult or impossible to find elsewhere. A small glitch regarding delivery date. I chose a specific day only for the order confirmation to say no date had been selected so it chose a date for me, specifically the one I wanted to avoid. I called to get it changed and was told it was fixed but next day got a message fro DPD confirming delivery on the exact day I had been trying to avoid. Luckily, it was at a time when I was able to receive it otherwise it would have been a nightmare problem with frozen food stuck outside in the sunshine for hours.
I bought a suckling pig. It was packed very well, arrived on time via DPD, and was absolutely delicious. Anyone who loves meat should, in my opinion, try a suckling pig: it is a breeze to cook in a standard domestic oven, and really not much more expensive that, say, a really good sirloin of proper grass fed beef that would feed as many people. Little Pedro will not be my last piglet!
Knowing I can rely on the quality of the cheese that I order means everything. Doesn't matter how good your prices are, how great the ordering and delivery are, unless the the produce is worth it. Basco are at the top :- Ordering, price,delivery but best of all FLAVOUR !
