Family BBQ Ruined!

Family BBQ Ruined!Ordered ribs from Basco with Express delivery for Friday. Called Friday to say there was a problem, but promised express delivery Saturday morning in order to still make timeline. Here we are Saturday noon, no delivery (seems like non-express delivery used), and now needing to scramble to recreate a menu for a family BBQ due to the double failure from this supplier (whose helpline is also closed).

wrong delivery and do not accept to issue an credit for a 90 pounds overcharge

Delivered tiger prawns instead of Carbionero prawns a difference of about 90 pounds on price! Ask for a credit when I realise opening the box from the freezer a few weeks later ( my cleaner put the box in the freezer) and they refer to the T&C's arguing I did not complain within 24 hDisgusting

Recent purchase fraught with issues

Recent purchase fraught with issues:- Delivery service missed the delivery window by several hours resulting in defrosted product.- Free gift as an incentive for spending £150+ not included in the delivery.- After confirming that this would be rectified over the phone, I received neither the partial refund for defrosted product, or the voucher to compensate for the lack of the gift until I followed up twice via email. Really interesting and great products available on this website, but I’ve completely lost faith in their delivery and aftercare should things go wrong. Not the sort of service you’d expect from a website that offers such premium products, and honestly, not worth the risk and time involved in rectifying issues.

Best chorizo on the market

Having eaten in Cafe Andaluz in Glasgow recently, I was impressed not only with my overall experience, but in particular with the quality of their chorizo. By far the best i have ever tasted, such a change from the rubbery supermarket offering.Not expecting to ever find out the source of this product, I asked the restaurant owner who was happy to share. I have since ordered from Basco and what a difference this has made to my one tray oven bake, and my caldo verde soup.

BASCO is now my go to supplier of quality food for special occasions. I had the old cow steaks which were amazing. The whole fillet was so tasty, and the whole suckling pig was beautiful in taste, the best crackling ever, and a culinary spectacle - a complete success. I’m so glad I found BASCO. Oh, delivery is great too.

Next day order not delivered 3 days later

Usually Basco have been fairly good, but I made an order for fresh food on Monday for next day delivery, and 3 days later I have still not received the parcel. If it has been sent, the food will be spoilt. DPD say they have not received the parcel yet, but Basco have charged my card. Customer service have not responded after I raised this to them yesterday.
