My husband ordered a full set of Citadel brushes from this company. A random selection arrived that contained some duplicates but three types were missing totally. Joe from Battleground Games refused to send the missing brushes from the set. Eventually he agreed that they all be returned to be refunded and promised to pay the return shipping.After two months we have received two partial refunds but am still almost £10 short. Joe refuses now to refund this to cover his postage even though the error was his. He directs us to his ts&cs.Joe - We ordered a set and as such the part set you supplied was no use to us. You chose not to supply the missing brushes. You promised a full refund including the return shipping but clearly you can not be trusted. All your commitments are in writing and so our CC company will resolve this with you. Quite simply the worst online buying experience we have ever had. Never again - Please beware!
I had a really disappointing experience with this company. I placed an order for 3 items which all showed as “in stock” on the website. I received an email confirming my order had been placed, and that I would receive another email when the order was shipped.4 days later I had not received confirmation of dispatch, so I emailed the company to enquire how long it should take. I didn’t receive a reply.2 days later I messaged the company’s Facebook page, and rapidly received a reply. I was informed that one of the items I had ordered was not in stock and a refund issued, but that the other two items had been shipped 2 days prior. I was very surprised that there had been no email or similar notification to tell me any of this, as it was the main item of my order. The owner apologised and advised if I wanted a full refund I should refuse to accept the delivery when it arrived.I decided not to return the remaining items when they eventually arrived, but 4 days later received a text and an email telling me my whole order had been cancelled. This again was a surprise as the email said it was cancelled at “customer’s request”, which it wasn’t. I was therefore left in the situation of having to get the various items from alternative suppliers, and most frustratingly lost over a week in time that could have been better spent.
