My 1st visit to a gaming shop in the West Midlands after only buying online or from larger retail stores, and this store has the greatest community and service I have found in the UK.The shop is filled with all types of figures and cards, old and new, Pokemon, Warhammer, One piece and more, all of which are sure to interest any collector. These products are all offered at fair prices that rival any of the bigger chain stores out there.The owner is friendly, knowledgeable and very passionate about providing a space for his community and you can see from the customers playing, laughing and joking in a lively, welcoming atmosphere that he is succeeding!Plus this shop also offers postage of products and help look for particular cards or sets for genuine collectors. In an industry that is struggling due to the huge number of scalpers, I am so grateful to have found a shop and community of dedicated collectors to share my love for my hobby and buy the products I want at a good price!
I placed an order over a week ago online, expecting swift delivery as advertised on their website. I first contacted them because I wanted to talk about changing my order. No reply.I then saw all the poor reviews about Battleground Gaming being a scam and not fulfilling online orders.I have emailed several times and no reply. I have rung the number that is supposed to go to the shop many times and they never answer.My order is sat pending and I cannot contact them to cancel it. I am afraid they have taken my money and I will have to escalate this matter to the bank.If anyone from Battleground Gaming in Birmingham reads this; reach out and make things right with the customers who are waiting for their orders.
