Ordered parts 16th Jan , despite several calls it took until the 20th march and me asking for a refund to get them to send them out , very poor service from start to finish don’t know why I expected any different had the same experience with them before , never order from them there clearly advertising and selling stock they don’t have ,, update after asking for a refund and them magically sending out the parts , turns out they only sent some of the parts , I called them asking where my parts are only to be told to f***koff , you can understand my frustration at this, 10 weeks waiting still no kit and no idea what is going on regarding my parts or my refund , absolutely shocking ,, take note order from anywhere except from this shower
Ordered the stainless steel cable adjuster after they had given me a better than advertised price, After accepting the offer price I had notification that the item had been dispatched via Royal Mail tracked, The item was delivered at the correct time and well packaged, Have used Beedspeed on many an occasion, seems to me they have learnt from previous mistakes and now are giving an A1 experience.KEEP IT UP 10/10 RECOMMENDED.
Ordered some GP fork links at what I thought was a good price but when they arrived you could see daylight through the bush on one side,no refund email after a week of waiting. I ended up buying some from kbr scooters a bit more expensive but the quality was miles apart will not be using them again
Ordered a part for a scooter. It was delivered promptly, but it turned out to be the wrong part - not what I ordered, or as described on the invoice. I phoned to get it replaced. Initially told to send an e-mail and it would be sorted out. Heard nothing, so called again a few days later. This time, Dan said I had been told to fill out the online returns form. I pointed out he hadn't said this, just said to send an e-mail. He got grumpy. He later phoned back to tell my OH that "the manufacturer sent the wrong part to us, and I will get it replaced as soon as I can" Fine, if he stopped there and hadn't then tried to complain I was rude to him (Spoiler: I wasn't, although I was firm, and did have the cheek to correct him when he was in the wrong). I filled out the online form. We waited. Heard nothing for a week - scooter engine lying open, so not ideal. OH sourced the part elsewhere (VE Ltd - fab service, highly recommended!). I contacted Beedspeed to request a refund. It took nearly a month, and some heavy duty nagging. Dan threw another strop every time he was challenged. I sent the part back Royal Mail Special Delivery. Unfortunately, they later told be they don't actually deliver to Beedspeed, so had to wait for Dan to collect the parcel. It took him more than a week, and lots of reminders. However, there is a happy ending - I finally received a refund, and the part supplied so promptly and professionally by VE Ltd (branded,and in the box provided by the manufacturer, not just in a wee polythene bag) did the job just fine. So we know where to order next time.For the record, even if the manufacturer did send the wrong part, Beedspeed's checking procedures failed to pick that up before they sold it on. And their customer service skills are seriously lacking. Most companies would apologise for the error and fix it as soon as possible. That isn't Dan's style. We won't be making another purchase from Beedspeed.
Firstly, I will happily say this is an honest review of my experience. I have been searching for a Sticky's Manual for ages, however really didn't want to pay a premium on postage, just ordering a book. However I managed to find through eBay Beedspeed's copy which I can say was really competitively priced and no additional postage cost. Which I have now found with a lot of their items, on their eBay store. I would also say that parts are marginally cheaper than that of rivals, which is a pleasant surprise. Yes I know in the past Beedspeed hasn't had the best reputation, that said I really do think Dan and the team have turned a corner and are delivering on their name. My manual order was placed on Friday evening, tracking was updated immediately and Dan dropped me a message to let me know it had been sent. Monday morning it appeared in the post, well packed and insulated. From me I'll be using them going forward, cheers guys, really good job!
