We thought we would go to Bella for a meal and drinks so at 18:00 we walked into the Southampton Branch, there were 6 or 7 tables in use waited a few minutes, then someone came and said have you booked, said no, reply don't do walk ins. So left and went to eat else where. After about 2 1/2 hours and a very nice meal else where we walked back past Bella Italia still only a few tables in use, a family outside looking at the menu, have you booked -no!! Sorry, you will not get fed in there!! Nothing on the website to say bookings only, nothing outside to say bookings only. The amount of money Bella must be losing because their restaurants are 80% empty. But never mind, we will not be going to Bella Italia again!!!
We went to Bella Italia on Hanover Street in Edinburgh yesterday. The food was good but the service was incredibly slow. That in itself wouldn't have been a big deal but when we received the bill we saw that the staff had decided to award themselves a 12.5% "optional service charge". When asked why this had been applied our server told us it was "company policy". We argued that if it's policy to apply a service charge then it isn't optional and that it should be removed. Result = 0% tip and will never return.
Just enjoyed a most satisfying dinner at Bella Italia Bristol, staff were extremely pleasant and friendly place was spotless and the food ordered was delivered promptly and very satisfying, happy to recommend this restaurant and would be delighted to visit again next time I am in Bristol
Ordered a carbonara pasta for my main and a chicken wings for my starter. They weren’t very tasty. Food was plain and in small portions. Could add extra flavour on the food. Price is okay after promotion but I wouldn’t pay full price for my dishes. Staffs are friendly enough. Free parking outside the restaurant.
My wife and I were guests at Bella italia Baldwin St. Bristol and had their £5 pasta deal enjoying the Pollo Cavatorre which was excellent we were looked after by Amber who was amazing nothing was to much trouble 😀 a 5* asset to Bella italia a really lovely young lady.
Shaftesbury Avenue London: The Five of us arrived here looking forward to a meal. The waitress took one look at the pushchair and asked us if we had booked when we said no she said they were full despite only two tables in use. Luckily I was able to inform two more parties they were full although they didn't have pushchairs.
Went to Bella italia and ordered a vegan spaghetti bolognaise. I began to eat my food and realised this was in fact meat. To which I told the staff and they told me there was nothing they could do I had to pay for the meal that I didn’t eat or orderI then have tried to make a complaint through the website/email and even contacted them on social media and then found out that they don’t have any form of complaint policy to even make a complaint and I had to go in store - to which I tried and was told there was nothing they could do
We went as a birthday gift from her grandparents it was brilliant and very tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful and welcoming. We booked but we could have just walked in and.got.a.table as it was a quiet time. Food was excellent and worth it.Keep up the good work we will be back.
Took my grandad on a 4 hour journey to Manchester to watch the football, we parked up and went in for the loo and a coffee. After going to the bar the manager very rudely said “wait outside were busy” I said can my grandad at least use the loo? And he said “when you are seated” who stops an 83year old pensioner from using a toilet! We were disgusted and left. A young waitress then tapped me on the shoulder and said I’m ever so sorry please take a seat and I’ll be straight over. She served us straight away let him use the loo very polite and apologetic. She said the manager isn’t very nice and treats them all like they’re nothing! These young waitresses run the place and are a credit to the company without them they would be nothing, they run around on a pittance of a wage and get treated like dirt. In my opinion this young lass should run Bella Italia and that manager isn’t fit to use a mop and bucket. I hope this poor girl picks herself up and gets a better job soon she shouldn’t have to put up with a moron like that! Coffees were good though but won’t be returning! This was Bella italia Media City
