Over the years I have found berghoff cookware hard wearing.Recently I purchased a lid for a pan which had been bought the previous year but forgot to check the size before visiting a show and left with the wrong size.I immediately emailed the customer service. They were exceedingly helpful, offering to exchange the lid, adviced me of the best way to send it, contacted me when it was received and sent the replacement the same day. Amazing.
