Most error prone software I have ever encountered. BigTime has cost us so much money with its constant database errors that convert billable time into unbillable time. Awful support. Run far, run fast. Don't make the same mistake our CPA firm made by signing up with BigTime. So so so bad.

I have used Bigtime for several years

I have used Bigtime for several years. At the beginning they were very good and helped me understand the software. Over the last couple years as they update their software expenses that i spend a tremendous amount of time entering show up on the invoice but do not calculate into the total amount for the invoice forcing me to try to renter them manually 1 by 1 into the invoice. This has taken me hours. After doing this time and time again and again the invoice still does not calculate the expenses. I try to call bigtime but they have no phone number and will only accept AI support that literally asks me what the problem is over and over again with no help what so ever. I have waited days to have them still not get back to me following their emails and stupid AI. I have now been waiting for over 1.5 hours when they said i was 1 to 3 minute wait period. After the 1.5 hours i had to make dinner for my kids and stepped away for my computer for 3o to 45 seconds and they said i timed out. I have now been waiting an additional 30 minutes with no support. If i ran my business this way i would have no clients. And now that i have to wait for BigTime i have invoices that clients need today that i tried to send to them over a week ago. Very disappointed in bigtime software over the last 2 years and very well might switch to QuickBooks. Your loss bigtime. The funny thing is as soon as i wrote that i might switch to QuickBooks in the AI chat i received an invoice for 2 additional years from BIGTime. Lol. Glad they can send me a bill, but i cannot send mine to the clients i need to submit invoice to. Hilarious!

I have been a BigTime customer since…

I have been a BigTime customer since their Beta days...so long now. I have been a faithful customer, loved their offerings...but now...The product, like so many, was really good at a couple of things, but they have expanded to other areas at the cost of doing what they did well. Customer support is friendly, but HUGELY over-burdened. It's worse than Intuit. Features mysteriously disappear (syncing 'on hold' status from QB), other features show up unbidden. Today, I've been on hold in chat for over 90 minutes (I had to give up yesterday after 60 minutes) and the agent can't jump on a screen share for however much longer because she is helping another client. I'm so sad. I expect this BS from big companies. The joy of BigTime was that it was a small, responsive, friendly company that really helped me run my business. Now it is just a pain in the a$$.

Implementation team was nice but…

Implementation team was nice but there were many issues. The invoicing did not perform basic math. Payments were not deducted from the balance and the implementation team did not understand why that would be a problem. After weeks of waiting for it to be fixed, we were at our go live date and it still wasn't fixed. We ended up canceling services but wasted a ton of time and money trying to get this up and running

Don't waste you company's money and time with this software.

The onboarding process was lengthy and had many challenges to overcome. many of the processes are not user friendly especially the clock in and out process in the field. it is very complicated for the field employees. the sync agent did not work properly most of the time. The software lacked some specific needs of ours - (specifically it doesn't show the time clocked in and time clocked out on jobs it only shows total time worked). this was something we were not able to determine until many months down the road based on the slow onboarding procedures. once determined the software would not work for our needs we decided to part ways with Bigtime and requested some concession for the almost 3,000.00 we paid up front. they said their hands were tied and would not offer any refund. basically we have your money so too bad.giving this company an opportunity so sell us their product was a very expensive time waste and I definitely would not recommend them to anyone.

BigTime is the WORST

BigTime is very SLOW, doesnt load pages at all sometimes and a refresh is required, which means you lose all the data you just entered. Cannot customize invoices as you should be able to, training was minimal and customer service cannot even find solutions to most issues you ask them. They do try, but end up with the answer that they will let their programmers know so maybe it can be addressed in the future. It changes client rates all on its own. Its calculations of percentages throws off invoice totals and causes clients to reject them. Reporting feature is a nightmare, you cannot customize or get the information you need without pulling a bunch of reports and then creating your own in Excel. In fact, we have had to use Excel for a lot of things that BigTime cannot do. It is great if you are just starting out and dont know there is better software out there yet, but once you find out about the better options, BigTime will look like you have been working with a crayon and paper compared to them. Just horrible!

We have recently implemented BigTime after using a competing platform for the prior two years. The support provided by Ben Mascow, Kevin Arakawa, and Beth Vandernoot have been excellent implementation partners, and Leah J. has been been great from a troubleshooting & support standpoint.

I recently implemented BigTime Software in my firm for managing our projects, time, and expenses and I must say I am thoroughly impressed. The software is extremely intuitive and it has made our processes run much more smoothly. The user interface is clean, easy to navigate and understand. The learning curve was minimal which saved us a lot of time and resources.I also appreciate the level of detail this software provides. It gives us a clear view of our project's progress, time logged, and expenses at a glance. We can also dig deeper when needed, which is extremely helpful for project analysis and for making important business decisions.Another feature that we loved is the invoicing function. It seamlessly integrates with the rest of the data, pulling in time and expense entries, which makes billing clients a breeze.In addition to the top-notch software, their customer service has been stellar. Quick turnaround on problem solving

Jake Stempel hung with me to solve a problem I was having getting historical project data into BT. He was quick to answer my questions and gave super clear instructions on how to fix the problem. Also, I appreciated that he explained where BT was pulling data from so I would better understand the bigger picture.
