Review Time
Greetings,I am leaving a single star because, at the very least, I received an authentic and modern Rolex Datejust. I picked the watch up in person at the Newport location, and Christian assisted in the buying experience. He was very pleasant, but handed me a watch that right out of the box was consistently losing up to 10 seconds a day. Days after my purchase, I spoke with Larry, the service manager, to address my watch since it was losing time. He wasn’t convinced it was losing time, and he told me I was likely watching the timekeeping too closely. I ended up taking the watch back in person since I knew it was losing time. This is not my first Rolex, and it is without question outside of specs. Within less than 10 mins of me giving the watch to Larry, he said he had regulated it and it should be keeping proper time. Within 72 hours of being “regulated” the watch lost around 18 seconds. I emailed both sales and the owner of the company, Paul Altieri. There was no response via email, and I took the watch back a second time to the Newport location. Larry said the watch was working fine. Unconvinced, I took it to a Rolex watchmaker simply to get it measured on his timegrapher. The timegrapher measured that it was losing between 8-10 seconds a day. This raises a few questions- is Larry’s timegrapher machine not calibrated properly, were my concerns regarding the watch minimized and brushed off, or is the watch a lemon? I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing from Bob’s, for I bought from them due to their supposed excellent customer service and reputation. After being brushed off twice, and with an independent timegrapher reading for my timepiece, I no longer feel comfortable dealing with this company. At the very least, I got an authentic timepiece, but it will likely need to be serviced by Rolex at my out of pocket cost so that it should be working as it should. Very disappointing to be treated like this with my valid concerns minimized by the customer service at the Newport location. Best,David Fernandez
We shopped around for a long time to find the right piece for my 60th b-day. This was going to be my last nice watch so it all needed to be just right. I even bought 3 Chinese fakes to get an idea just how they would feel on my wrist for more than 10 minutes in a watch shop. (I highly recommend doing this). As soon as we discovered the perfect piece on Bob's web site, we pulled the trigger and had it next day. Bob's made the process seamless and every part of it felt extremely safe. The piece was as shown on the site and we are so happy with the piece and the service.We were so happy, my wife found a very uncommon piece of her own on the website and we contacted Bob's to hold it for the next day. They did and we bought that one also. I cannot express how easy it was (IS) to work with Bob's. Our rep was awesome and super quick to respond. We couldn't be happier and we will wear these proudly and with confidence. We would not consider any other dealer than Bob's Watches and will recommend them to all who comment on our shiny new His & Her pre owned Rolexes!!A&A Chase

This was a pleasant buying experience. Kayla was a great help and answered all of my questions and concerns. I ordered the watch at 3:00 P.M. one day and it was on my wrist at 11:00 A.M the next day traveling coast to coast. The watch arrived well packed and as advertised. In a sea of questionable sellers my experience with Bob’s was a breath of fresh air. THANKS
When began my Rolex search I was brought to Bob's Watches. I'd been looking for a reputable seller for years and was happy to learn that Bob's had been in the business for many years. I'd been looking for a 1976 Rolex Datejust from someone I could trust. And just this past week Bob's had one pop up on their website. I immediately contacts Bob's and began chatting with Christian who went over and beyond in helping me make my purchase decision. He even went as far as to take additional photos of the watch and emailed them to me. That sealed the deal for me. I'm very happy about my purchase and will definitely look to Bob's in the future!
