The worst online shopping experience ever. I selected an item twice, and twice they refunded my money. They said they didn't have it and promised a refund, but when you go to the website, everything is fine; the dress is on sale. The first time, there was a discount on a dress, so I paid for it. I waited almost two weeks for delivery, and finally, they told me that the dress was out of stock. I checked their website, and lo and behold, the same dress was priced higher. Since I wanted to buy it as a gift, I selected it again, added it to my cart, and of course, they happily charged me the price of the dress right away. And again, wasted waits for delivery and, ultimately, another refund. There's only one conclusion to draw from all this. This is a fraudulent website that takes your money for non-existent items, spins it for themselves for two or three weeks, and then, thank God, returns your money. So the question is, if they use other people's money for their own purposes, like banks, where's the interest? In general, I do not recommend buying anything there at all; do not support scammers.

I ordered 4 skirts from Bonmarche. Rang the 0nline number to ask about lengths as they were not stated. A lady checked and said 30"-31". I ordered them as I am about 30". Three were OK one measured 33" and was on the floor. I enquired about a return and was told if it was a size problem I would have to pay carriage even though I had rung to check. I am disgusted by this and will not use Bonmarche again!

Avoid using PayPal for purchases!

Steer clear of buying anything through PayPal! Items purchased via this method cannot be returned directly to the store. They must go back through the designated courier, who has already lost three of my returns! It’s incredibly challenging to retrieve your money. One representative told me, "No, you can’t receive a refund, deal with the courier!" I reminded them that it’s their chosen returns service! Then I was informed that it hadn't been 15 days since I sent the package back, so I needed to call again later. I eventually received my refunds, but the customer service experience was truly disappointing!

Purchase made online 8/9 days ago

I made an online purchase 8/9 days ago. A card payment of £60 was deducted from my bank on 25/11/25. Now it's December 1st, and I have received no communication! The delivery was supposed to arrive within 5-7 days. I called their contact number this morning and was on hold for 40 minutes. The representative assured me they would prioritize my issue and send an email update. I'm still waiting! This is completely unacceptable!!!

Disheartening store experience

I typically buy my clothing from a local retailer, but my recent visit to this store was quite disheartening. The staff member was unhelpful, lacked a friendly demeanor, and did not express gratitude. I will likely consider shopping at different places moving forward.

I usually buy most of my clothes from a local retailer. My recent experience was disappointing. The staff member was unhelpful, did not smile, and failed to express gratitude. I may consider shopping elsewhere in the future.

Will not use this service again

I will not use this service again. I have been waiting nearly two months for a refund. After numerous calls and emails, no one is taking responsibility for resolving the issue. I can't speak to a manager, as they supposedly do not handle calls, nor can I reach anyone from the Escalations or Finance team!!! 😡

Frustrating refund process

After contacting customer service five times with long waits for answers, I've been told that four separate refunds for my large order totaling £374 have been issued to PayPal. PayPal claims no refunds have been received. I can understand one payment going astray, but not all four. PayPal states that a £90 partial refund is being offered, despite all goods being confirmed as returned unused and in perfect condition. I have declined the partial refund and want my full refund of £374. I’ve already incurred £32 in return fees. If this isn't resolved within 7 days, I will consult a solicitor about taking legal action. My order number is noted.
