Review Time
Got through to a contact after a few minutes, who then took my details - name, address, serial number etc. Gave me basic info I knew then stopped communicating entirely. After several prompts from me and after being ignored for 30 minutes I left the conversation and am now looking at Sonos.
I'm really surprised by these reviews; it sounds like people only ever leave reviews when there is a complaint. In my view they offer some of the best products and after care I've experienced. I had the Quiet Comfort 35 headphones for 5 years and they eventually lost sound in one ear. I checked the Bose website and was able to trade my old headphones in and get an upgrade at a heavily discounted price (around 33% off the retail price just for sending back your old headphones). Things went wrong when I tried to send them back via UPS; the drop off point and UPS lost the parcel and nobody would take responsibility for it. I was so annoyed that I refused to accept this and got on the phone with Bose who immediately took over. The representative told me I had to raise a claim but I couldn't do that as Bose originated the shipping request. So I called back and a lovely lady called Marian took over. She has been incredible. She not only raised the case but within 3 days she had identified that UPS had lost the parcel, arranged for the replacement headphones to be sent out and called me up to check that everything is in order. I am actually about to go away and tried (unsuccessfully) to change the delivery on the UPS website (entirely different experience there - if I could give a minus star review I would). Marian took charge again; changed the delivery address for me and has said she will track this shipment through to delivery for me. This is why I have been using Bose products for the past 15 years - not only are they superb quality but I have not had customer service this good in a very long time. I don't mind where a customer service team is based so long as they do their job and communicate clearly; and this is exactly what I got here. This will be my 3rd pair of over ear Bose headphones and I also have sports headphones; the money spent is well worth it given the product quality and service.
It appears that Bose have discontinued producing their Soundwave CD systems. On a call with their (overseas) call centre I was told by Shane (a female) that Bose are no longer interested in customers that have, or require, CD players. Charming! What this leaves is a company that will only now produce Bluetooth compatible speakers. That's fine but it means their stock becomes redundant quickly as new speaker systems are no longer compatible with each other. Meaning the customer has to buy (more) new stock. This was the case with their SoundLink speakers not being compatible with their Smart Home speakers, of which the Smart Home 300 appears to have been discontinued.Clearly Bose do not get customer and brand loyalty, of which mine is now discontinued.
writing for my friend he bought a real expensive sound bar from Bose..anyhow it started to smell of burning etc eventually it stopped working was in touch with their customer service who i may add lie and lie and lie to you waited for a phone call nothing at all If you want to buy anything to do with sound etc DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I have three BOSE products, all have been perfect until I accidentally got my sports ear buds wet. I attempted to telephone the laughingly called service help line. My goodness me, what a waste of my time and what a way to treat the customer! I explained I couldn't get the serial number of the product but I identified the product as 'sports ear buds'. Because the person on the phone's first language clearly wasn't English, I wasted thirty mins for nothing, a truly shocking experience!
Done big mistake by ordering bose 900 sound bar they offer ear bud but thus people ir the company is dumb to employ irrelevant staff and managers who doesn't know or to manage. Only know to blame others. first of all they kept third class courier UPS. Also Which are their services is also same as bose like donkeys. Put load on their back they goes but they don't know what they are carrying and where. Bose is also have no class for services for two parcels for same person rider number same but tracking number is different and which is compulsory not sent but useless thing came first.
