Avoid this dysfunctional device

This is the tubular "Smart Speaker" for use with Alexa. As a Bluetooth connected speaker it's acceptable, though overpriced for what you get. As a Smart speaker I've found it to be useless. It won't connect to WiFi and I've tried every published way to do it. The app and associated support systems are laughable, contradictory, and don't solve the issue anyway. It doesn't support Google music platforms, a fact you discover only after being invited in- app to connect to it and follow the steps to do so. Pressing the WiFi button gives the message "WiFi has been disconnected" -it hasnt. The battery life is pathetic. I previously owned a Bose Bluetooth only speaker, the compact extended rectangle, which was brilliant. This "Smart " speaker is dreadful, a waste of money with no customer support.

Orderd product 5 weeks ago, the status keeps saying that its held in a warehouse in Brussels, it is impossible to to talk to anyone, you just keep getting automated emails. The only option is to do apply for a credit card chargback

Speaker returned damaged and no help

Booked a speaker in for repair and told I would be sent a box and after 2 weeks of no box arriving I chased it up then to be told I need to provide my own box. Paid for repair and speaker returned with a massive dent in the front grill, been trying to contact since via live chat and call and keep being disconnected. Great products but absolutely terrible service and caused major cosmetic damage to a very expensive speaker.

1 star is far to high!

1 star is far to high!I ordered BOSE 2 Sleep Buds from their webisteThe first delivery date advised was the 14th Oct, then 18th Oct. I contacted the phone support who stated it would be the 19th Oct or 21st Oct and then I could cancel the orderThe package had been stuck in a warehouse with teh EU since the 12th Oct with no movement. I contacted online support this time and was assured they had cancelled the order. Just after this I received an email stating delivery on th 25th Oct. So I contacted online support 2 days running who stated it had been cancelled. Eventually I got the truth that it had not been cancelled despite the chat transcripts telling me it had. Basically they lie to you and no action was taken against those support agents that lied to me. Disgraceful service and company!

A Bose cover up for a poor product

After purchasing 3 soundtouch products they all sound ok individually but try connecting them on the soundtouch app. Numerous IT friends have attempted to connect these products simultaneously without success. No wonder these products have been discontinued. After spending £700 I can only use one speaker at a time. An absolute disgrace.

Product never arrived after 10 working…

Product never arrived after 10 working days, customer service would only reorder from same warehouse by same delivery company so would have to wait for another 10 days as couldn't expedite apparently!

High end product buy somthing else or same product not from Bose

High end product, Getting shipped from Brussels that’s fishy already my order is held up without explanation, Bose palm you off said 1-2 days then 2-3 then said that 2-3 was a typing error now saying it’ll be delivered

Useless

Useless. Order placed over a week ago still not arrived. Bose say they’ve shipped it and I need to speak to ups. Bose have no idea what’s going on and are hard to get in contact with. Ups keep saying it’s in customs, been ping ponging between Brussels and uk. Won’t buy from them again !

Support is useless as they clearly have…

Support is useless as they clearly have no idea whats going on. I got QC45 from them and the battery doesn’t work well at all so I'm in the process of getting a replacement and it is a massive pain. Just buy Sony headphones.
