Greedy middle man. I love their business idea, and I was a member from 2018(ish) to 2022. I wish they got this right, but they really didn't. In the beginning they had cheap prices for members and were paying studios a fair share. But they were not making money. Instead of revising their finances, admitting their mistakes, increasing prices accordingly and keeping things fair, they started screwing everyone over bit-by-bit. Every other month a new weird rule would appear. First trying to earn more money if you are late. Then restricting which studios you can attend. Then restricting how many times you can attend a studio. Then trying to make even more money if you miss a booking.The studios were also making less and less money with the partnership. Of course the best studios jumped out or restricted the number of spots available for Bruce. Now it's 2024 and things are still getting worse and worse.Support your local studio, buy a "klippkort" or a membership directly with them. We don't need a greedy middle man.
I started with Bruce in 2019 as a collaboration with Bruce as partners with my movement studio, when J and K were in charge in GBG. I can't express how helpful and supportive they were. I even became a private member with them to support this innovative and smart new company that I thought it was. I sold and convinced others to become Bruce members (counting more than 50 people who joined as members for me, TGS ). After 2020, J left, and all the rules started to change for studio owners and members. The funny part is that they change rules as they like and need. It's so sad that it has become like this. Today, after asking for a discount, after all these years of collaboration, I didn't even get a 10% discount on the normal price. I really don't need a membership with them. I've been in the movement brands for so long that I can get discounts anywhere, I wanted to support the course again. But no, nothing from them. Today, I say - don't buy Bruce even if it looks good. They will change the rules to suit their own needs. They don't even pay the studios/gyms well with the money, so it's not recommended from either side. It's so sad that it ends like this.
Honestly such a great concept that enables you to try out so many different things you normally wouldn't have tried. Also, I can finally join my friends in basically any gym, not limiting myself to just one place, or having to buy daily passes to exercise with friends and family. Just be on time and remember to check in and Bruce is such a life hack.
The access to a bunch of new studios and gyms is one thing, but the customer service is a whole other level! At 22.15 I am chatting with customer service and they are reinstating my tokens as I was blocked for a missed check-in. 5-stars across the board
I think you should remove the options of buying credit. It’s useless, I can’t even use to book a court to play, I mean, credits should be flexible I mean that’s your money why can’t you book the entire court. What is the use of this? I should be able to use it whatever I want.Reply to BRUCE:I will understand if I have a menbership subscription, then I should not share it with friends. But for credits it should be more flexible, the concept should be like having cash where you can book what ever you want, otherwise I will just keep my cash.
This app is saving me a tonne of money compared to paying for memberships or one off passes to all of the activities I partake in. Their customer support is super quick and they're very helpful and really friendly! Definitely recommend using Bruce!
I genuinely always love the Bruce Support Team’s fast responses and communication style. Super efficient, super casual, super no b.s.I don’t want any problems, no one wants to have to reach out to Support. But I always look forward to getting to chat with Bruce’s support team, for literally anything. Like I’m not exaggerating, it’s true. I don’t dread reaching out to support and in fact enjoy it haha.
