Review Time
Had my renewal quote through which was too expensive so decided to go with someone else. I used the online chat facility 1 week before the renewal to cancel and went on with the rest of my day.Then yesterday I get a notification from my bank that the direct debit is to be taken. I called yesterday to confirm that my policy has been cancelled, why does it take so long to action this? The money has now left my account so I am owed this money back.Update: Here we are on 30th June and I've still heard nothing from you. I will be taking this further.

The customer service agent, Yolanda, was very helpful and was happy to talk through different options for the different circumstances I was concerned about. Everything was very clearly explained and I felt confident choosing the insurance I needed for my specific requirements. I intially used MoneySuperMarket to look online for house insurance, and picked a product with InsureMy. On attempting to purchase I was surprised to have to phone to clarify some details and confused by being talked to regarding CETA Insurance. The call was to a somewhat noisy call centre, and several times I had to ask for the quickly spoken questions or information to be repeated. Nonetheless, the call was answered without having to hold for any length of time, and was useful in unexpectedly and significantly reducing the premium that I had originally been quoted for, and for eventually completing the purchase.
Another successful story with CETA and Karen. I first dealt with Karen 4 months ago and since then, she arranged 5 insurance policies for me. Very professional attitude and down to the point. Appointments respected to the minute and she seems to be always available and quick to respond to emails. The prices were correct and I never (so far) had any issues with the service.
