WORST customer service.On 6/25/21 Brighton, CO experienced an extreme storm with hail. My French patio door (installed by Champion on May 17, 2019) was damaged.I contacted the company multiple times, trying to get someone out here to assess the damage so that I could get it either repaired, or the damaged parts replaced. I was told each time that "someone" would call me to set up a service appointment. Contact was made with the company by phone on: 7/19, 8/1, 8/2, (was told to call install mgr directly, left two messages over 3 days), 8/23, 8/27, and 9/1. On my 8th call TO the company, I set an appointment for a service rep to come on Friday, September 10.The morning of the 10th, the rep left me a voice mail, telling me that he was double booked and wouldn't make the appointment. When I called him back, he said that it wasn't "his kind of appointment" and that he wasn't coming.This problem remains unresolved.
The sales representative arrived exactly on time, was courteous and communicated well. He walked me step by step through the details of replacing my old windows with Champion windows, demonstrating how they worked, describing their advantages for my home, answering all my questions, and demonstrated their effectiveness in conserving heat, a big issue in my old house. I know I am getting as good a product as there is, without any pressure, just a lot of facts. I can’t wait for the installation! I am sold on Champion windows!
We are very disappointed with this company at this time. They were wonderful when we bought the windows but when it came to the warranty to replace a window we gave them our 99.00 to come out and replace the window in December of 2020 and after several phone calls they finally came out 9 months later WITH THE WRONG WINDOW! Said it would be another4 to 6 weeks it we are lucky. Another thing that made us mad they had no shoe covers or a MASK!
This Company is Horrible, BUYER BEWARE!I responded to their Facebook Promotion, which was Buy 2 Windows, Get 2 Free.The Facebook Promotion had a Click Here to Schedule an Estimate Tab, so I did.Shortly after the Salesman Bron Gailey came to do the Estimate. Right from the start I had asked about a Military Discount, and I was told that I would be getting one.After Bron Gailey came up with the Price, my Wife asked if that included the Military Discount, and again we were told that it did!The problem is, this Company doesn't offer a Military Discount!A situation caused us to take a closer look at the Contract, and we found that Bron Gailey had disguised their YES 10% Promotion to look as though we got a Military Discount! 😠 If that wasn't bad enough, the Windows that we were shown and Ordered didn't Qualify for the Promotion!He didn't even bring the Windows that did!I was taught that a Man's Word meant something, so we didn't have reason to question the Contract. I have spoken with numerous people at the Corporate Level trying to get this matter resolved, and at the very least, be compensated for the 10% Discount I was lead to believe I would be getting!Allegedly, the Salesperson was Terminated, which to me was an Admission of Guilt. But as far as any Resolution is concerned, I am told that they are "Sticking to Policy. "I was told in a rather threatening, intimidating manner, that there is a 30% Cancelation Fee, AND they will put a Lein on our House to get it!I have tried unsuccessfully to contact the CEO, but he doesn't bother himself with matters like this. I have been left with no other choice than to contact the Better Business Bureau.
I bought a house that had an enclosed porch done by Champion, but 3 door panels were missing. My quest to get them replaced started in 2015. I gave up after awhile. I decided to try again. My first phone call to them was September 15, 2019. The work was finally completed yesterday, August 31, 2021. Almost two years to get three panels replaced. If you need repairs done, don't expect them to be helpful in any way.
I have a window that is broken that I have been trying to have Champion fix since May 2021. Every time I call I have been told that a part needs to be ordered and that a supervisor will get back to me. Well that hasn't happened yet. I've been calling every 2 weeks since June trying to get someone to explain to me what the plan is. Every time I call I am told Trish isn't at her desk or this supervisor is no longer working or Grand Rapids has no one handling their issues at this time. At this point I don't believe a word that anyone says that works for this company. I would never recommend a Champion product based on customer service alone.
I have been waiting for over a year now to get faulty windows replaced. It took almost 3 months just to get a response from someone. I have been on hold for over 3 hours at a time on several occasions. Ridiculous! Original request in June 2020. Replacements were installed in November 2020. One sash was made wrong and was supposed to mbe remade. It's now almost September 2021, and still no sign of a window. Same story every time I inquire, blah blah, no answer or false promises. Find another window manufacturer!!!
