They came to our house three times to measure and give us an estimate. We accepted the offer and paid half only to have them call and tell us it would cost way more to have it done. Unprofessional, ineptitude, ignorance. We even had a problem with another of their windows and they passed the buck on that too. Nobody ever contacted me to fix it. I think they are over priced and under qualified. Find another dealer
I spent $$$ on 14 Champion 365 series windows early this spring. The craftsmanship is subpar. A couple have warped corners and one had a corner gap, which the installer used chaulking to repair (shouldn't this be done at the factory?) One window had loose weather stripping with neither the installer or install supervisor could fix. The new sliding door still has a cracked trim piece. I'm still finding window debris in my yard. I contacted Customer Service and they said the replacement windows were ready (Yes, I had to contact customer service, rather than them contacting me). Anyway, a tech comes out and doesn't know anything about the new replacement windows. He said he would find out from his office. I get a voice recording several days later. Evidently, the new frames are somewhere in their warehouse. Now "it's a scheduling issue". Buyer beware. Don't believe the hype from TV commercials. And be skeptical of all the positive reviews on their FB.
I would not recommend buying from Champion windows. My husband and I had purchased new windows from Champion a few years ago and LOVED them! Our patio door was shattered this summer due to a rock thrown by the lawn mower. The sales rep came out and delivered a great presentation. We signed the contract that day. He told us (this was JUNE) that Champion was different that the other big box retailers because they make their product in Cincinnati. He said he could get us a patio door installed in 4-6 weeks. When the second Champion guy came out to do the re-measure, he said that it might be 6-8 weeks. We waited patiently for 12 weeks. We heard nothing from Champion. Not a single word. I had to jump through hoops to try to speak to someone to inquire what was happening. After a very frustrating week of getting the run around of who I should speak to for an update, the installer finally contacted me. He told me that they have experienced labor shortages and material shortages due to the pandemic. I understand that; however, I would like to have been made aware of this situation at some points during the 12 weeks of waiting. The installer said that he put a "RUSH" order on my patio door that still wasn't complete. He said that the door would be installed by the last week of September or the first week of October. It is the last day of September, and I have heard NOTHING from Champion again. I've tried calling customer service. I've tried texting the installer. I just want the patio door that I have paid for to be installed so I can be done dealing with this company. Unless you love headaches and frustration, I wouldn't buy from Champion windows.
We are so pleased with Champion Windows because its a company of integrity! We purchased our SunRoom on June 9, 2004 because they have a great warranty and service program for their products. We called for service only 3 times in 17 years (since our sunroom was installed). The most recent service request (3d call) was for our screen doors which were worn from the weather. Things are a little different because of COVID so I placed an online service order on their website. I was contacted by Debbie who explained that there would be delays due to supply and manpower shortages. We waited patiently and received a call from Earl Miller, Service Tech who showed up with such a friendly and professional attitude, he quickly replaced 5 screens on our screen doors and corrected the tracts so that the doors did not stick. We are writing this review to recognize Earl for his awesome customer service and for being such a PROFESSIONAL technician in every sense of the word. Earl is an asset to Champion and Champion Windows is an excellent company who stands by their products and service! Thank you!!!
Unprofessional Very bad experience never deal with them agin, they have zero credibility and totally unprofessional and not honest increase my estimate $10000 after i sign the contract with 3 months, your sales rep will answer your phone until you sign the contract then they never answer your call again They are scam, poor time management, never deal with them again under and circumstances.I never did bad reviews and I did a lot of project in business and at my home but Champion one of the worst experience I have ever
